Before we begin, please choose your favorite mobile phone number!

55-66 AD

The answer is: 55 is the best number of all numbers, much more than 88! Now many mobile phone numbers and license plates like to choose "8", such as "5438", hehe! No one seems to like "I'm 38", hehe, the example is wrong!

In fact, this is an ignorance of traditional culture. Real experts will choose two "fives"-55 is the so-called "large number".

Our ancestors divided ten numbers from one to ten into "day" and "land", which sounds mysterious, but in fact they are odd and even: "day" is one, three, five, seven and nine, and "land" is two, four, six, eight and ten.

Next, do the math problem:

Add up five days: 1+3+5+7+9 =?

Yes, 25

Five bits add up: 2+4+6+8+ 10 =?

Yes, 30 years old.

Then add the number of days and the number of places: 25+30 =?

Yes, 55 years old. This can count, you can graduate from primary school, oh!

See, this is how the so-called "number of large derivatives" is obtained. It is the sum of "days" and "places".

When the ancients had just had some mathematical experience, they would have a mysterious fascination with numbers, thinking that they contained some mysteries of the universe that we didn't know-we will understand that this psychology is not unique to China when we look at Pythagoras' research in ancient Greece.

Ok, knowing the date and place, we began to learn to calculate divination!

What is this? The following is the basic knowledge!

Many people don't know exactly how the Book of Changes calculates hexagrams. Why? -Like geomantic omen, there are too many hills, and any expert uses any tricks, saying that he is the most powerful and authentic.

So who is the truest?

What Zi Ping's eight characters, Zhuge Shen, Shao Kangjie's Huangshi, plum blossom Yi Shu, Chen Tuan's bodhi old zu's He Tu Luo Shu, and Jiao Gan, etc., are all very backward, and the more complicated they are, the only function is to make people unable to find the north. Hehe ~ ~

What is the most original document?

That's right. It's simple. This is the Book of Changes.

Now, during the break after class, let's take a test of the Book of Changes. What's the difference between the narrow I ching and the broad I ching?

That's right. Give me a kiss, okay? No, give me a knife!

Where is the motto of Tsinghua University, "Strive for Self-improvement, be virtuous and carry things"?

Strictly speaking, the Book of Changes actually has two parts, one is the Book of Changes and the other is the Book of Changes. The Book of Changes and the Book of Changes together constitute the Book of Changes. After in-depth study, the Book of Changes (in a narrow sense) is the most primitive document in existence, and the Book of Changes is mainly explained and expounded by some scholars in the Warring States period, which is at least several hundred years later than the era in which the Book of Changes is located. In other words, if we regard the Book of Changes as a textbook, then the Book of Changes is a teaching aid. If we look at the time interval, we can imagine the relationship between the Book of Changes and the Book of Changes as follows: Ming people wrote a textbook. From the Qing Dynasty to our modern times, many people compiled different teaching AIDS for this book, and then the teaching materials were co-edited with these teaching AIDS, which is the Book of Changes that we see now.

Therefore, when we read the Book of Changes, we must remember to separate the Book of Changes from the Book of Changes. The Book of Changes is short and full of divination, while the Book of Changes expounds many philosophical thoughts through divination.

So, what can we learn from the original document I Ching?

The answer may surprise some people: in the Book of Changes, there is no mention of gossip or divination.

It's not just giving us cards, so won't you tell me how to play? Shoot a tractor or be a royalist, or blow it up. Whoever blows it down first wins. Oh, of course not. Then where is it? Don't worry, come with me!

The most primitive document that records divination methods is Yi Zhuan. The Book of Changes is a general term, which includes ten documents explaining the Book of Changes. These ten documents have always been called "Ten Wings". There is an article "Cohesion" in Ten Wings, which explains the method of divination for the first time in history. The following words can be remembered, hehe, it doesn't matter if you don't remember. The way to teach you in the future is to explain this passage:

The number of big swallows is fifty, and its use is nine out of forty. Split in two, like two, hang one like three, like four, like four, like a leap. Jump at the age of five, so cut it and hang it. Tianyi, second; Tian San, Di Si; Heaven five, earth six; Bati Tianqi; Nine days and ten places. Five days, five places. When five people are combined, the number of days is five out of twenty, the number of places is thirty, and the number of heaven and earth is five out of fifty, and they become ghosts and gods. Six strategies, four strategies, three hundred and sixty, the date of the current period. There are 1,520 policies in two chapters, and the number of things is also. Therefore, "Yi" is made up of four battalions, with ten changes and eighty percent of divination, gossip and small success. Drawing is extended, touching grows, and the ability of the world is completed. Showing God's virtue is a reward and blessing to God. Confucius said, "He who knows the way of change knows what God has done.

Be sure to look carefully! Look carefully!

It is time to test your knowledge of ancient Chinese!

Do you understand?

Can't you? You don't understand, do you

It's time to popularize ancient education in China. Teachers don't understand, students understand?

What, don't you get it?

-Don't lose heart, don't feel inferior, don't say that you can't understand it, even the ancient masters of Yi studies can't understand it.

Zhu was one of the top experts who studied Zhouyi in Song Dynasty. When commenting on this passage, he said helplessly: "This passage is about the specific method of divination, but it is too simple! How to play this set of things is probably only known by ancient fortune tellers, and there is no way to verify it now. "

What did Zhu's remarks show? It shows that the discussion of this divination method in the copula is simply incomprehensible. What's more, the convergence is at least hundreds of years later than the Book of Changes, and its statement is not necessarily original.

What can we do? There are ways: how bold people are and how productive the land is; I'm afraid I can't do it, I'm afraid I can't think of it! Hardware decoding also wants to explain this passage!

As a result, this method of divination was interpreted by senior people.

The popular classic explanation is:

First, find fifty or fifty-five yarrow trees.

What is yarrow? -is a kind of grass specially used for divination. It doesn't matter if you don't. You can use toothpicks and matchsticks. Of course, professionals generally use Go, and it is not made of ordinary glass or plastic. It's an advanced jade Go, which is calculated on a delicate cow bone chessboard. The purpose is to make the deceived fool dare not say the wrong thing and make people feel that the fortune teller is very professional and authoritative! So, let's play behind closed doors and use whatever is convenient. If you are strong enough, you can also use fifty or fifty-five shots to calculate divination.

So, is it fifty-fifty? Why is there an "or"? Why were you so lax in the first place?

Literally, it is "50", but some experts think it is contradictory to the context. The word "five" falls off after "50", so it should be "55".

Why fifty-five? Isn't eighty-eight more auspicious?

How dare you agree? Dare to fight, and our investigation will be in vain before the class starts? This is the "great number of faces", which is the sum of "heaven" and "earth".

The following question is: divination is about to begin. Should I use fifty dollars or fifty-five dollars?

The answer is: it doesn't matter, use as much as you want.

Who hit me? God, how did rotten eggs fall into the sky?

This is not imprecise, nor irresponsible, but: in practice, only 49 yuan is enough. If you take fifty dollars at first, take one off; If you take fifty-five at first, take six.

Someone will definitely say, "isn't this full?" At first, I just said that it would be over for forty-nine dollars. What's the big deal? " ! "

The ancients were not satisfied. They think this is mysterious and symbolic, or because of the convenience of technical operation. We don't care that much. Anyway, just remember that the actual divination is 49 yuan. You'd better find out forty-nine dollars or something and calculate it according to my following steps.

Now begin the first step of divination: divide 49 pieces into left and right groups randomly. Don't underestimate such a simple grouping, which has profound symbolic significance and symbolizes the beginning of chaos and the division of heaven and earth. Thus, these two sets of chess pieces, one symbolizing the sky and the other symbolizing the earth.

Step two: heaven and earth are here. Is it time to find someone?

Yes, any group can take 1 piece (some people say that it can only be taken from the group to the right of the sign bit). This work symbolizes people. In this way, heaven, earth and people are all there. Our ancestors called these three things "three talents".

Step 3: Count the number of the group of chess pieces symbolizing the sky, divide this number by 4 after counting clearly, and see what the remainder is (set it as X, remember that it is X, which will be used later).

When any number is divisible by 4, there are only four possibilities for the remainder: 1, 2,3, divisible.

In case of division, let's take the remainder as 4. Okay, now take the rest away.

For example, if there are 20 pieces in this group, then: 20 ÷ 4 = 5, and there is no remainder, then we will take 4 as the remainder and remove 4 pieces from these 20 pieces.

Some people will ask, "Why divide by 4? How unlucky this number is! Why not divide by 8? "

The answer is: this is also symbolic, and 4 symbolizes the four seasons of the year here. This symbolic statement should not be earlier than the Zhou Dynasty, because there are no four seasons in the Shang society, only two. It seems that the ancients of that era did not think that the number 4 was unlucky, because the whole divination process of Zhouyi was carried out around 4.

Step 4: Draw the group of chess pieces at the symbol as a cat and a tiger, just like step 3 (the remainder here is set to Y, remember that it is Y, and it will be used later).

Step 5: Put the 1 chess piece used to symbolize people in the second step, the X chess piece removed as the remainder in the third step, and the Y chess piece removed as the remainder in the fourth step together. How many are there in all?

Why did six come out? Little guy, do it again!

Note: there are only two possibilities for this number in the fifth step, either 9 or 5. If the number you calculated is neither 9 nor 5, it means that you made a mistake in the previous step, and you can start from the beginning.

Well, from the first step to the fifth step, this set of actions is completed, which is called "one change", which means "the first set of prescribed actions".

From now on, "one change" ends and "two changes" begin. In other words: the second set of prescribed actions began.

The second set of prescribed actions is very simple, that is, repeating "one change". Note: At the end of the fifth step of the second revision, there are only two answers, either 4 or 8. If the number you get is neither 4 nor 8, congratulations, it can only show which step you have miscalculated and start over.

Next, the cleverness of the third set of prescribed movements lies in the "three changes"

After "one change", "two changes" and "three changes", the divination work came to an end temporarily.

Now look, I finally have 32 yuan left.

Note: After these three processes are completed, there are only four final figures: 24, 28, 32 and 36.

No matter which of these four numbers you get, try again, do a small operation and divide this number by 4. In my example just now, the final score was 32, so: 32 ÷ 4 = 8.

At this point, we finally came up with a solution.

What is it?

-He is the most basic unit of hexagrams. There are only two kinds of hexagram, one is yang hexagram, and the symbol is "-"; One is Yin, the symbol is "-",and six hexagrams are superimposed to form a hexagram. A popular view is that Yin and Yang are the earliest binary systems in history. In fact, this view stems from the well-intentioned misunderstanding of the mysterious culture of the East by western scholars-Yin and Yang are the opposite of Yin and Yang, a sign of odd or even numbers, and have nothing to do with the binary system anyway. There are so many experts who have studied Zhouyi through the ages.

On the other hand, we have just made three calculations and finally got a number: 8. We need to record this number-you take out a piece of paper and write respectfully at the bottom of this paper: 8.

Remember: you must record respectfully, and your heart is sincere!

But, "8", this guy looks like an Arabic numeral, neither yin nor yang. What is it?

Regardless of this problem, we can continue to calculate according to the method of "three changes".

How to continue? One word: repeat! -Put all 49 pieces together again, make another change, another change, and another change. Divide the final number by 4, and write this number on the "8" just now to complete the second move.

Now there are two problems to be solved. The first question is: Why do you want to record a new score on "8"? Why can't you write it on the left, right and bottom of "8"?

The answer is: in a divination, the arrangement order is from bottom to top, so the first divination you work out should be placed at the bottom, the second divination should be placed on top of the first divination, and then the third divination should be placed on top of the second divination until. It's like building a six-story building. First cover the first floor, then the second floor, the third floor, and all the way to the top sixth floor.

The second question is: What if the last "divide by 4" is divided by the remainder?

The answer is: there can be no remainder unless there is an error.

Didn't you just say that at the last step of each "three changes", there are only four possibilities for the total number of left and right sets of chess pieces: 24, 28, 32 and 36. Let's see:

24÷4=6

28÷4=7

32÷4=8

36÷4=9

So, the last number is only six, seven, eight and nine, and I just got eight. If I go through another round of "one change", "two changes" and "three changes", I still can't get these four situations.

Divination is to work out a complete divination. How many hexagrams does a complete hexagram consist of? Six.

A hexagram is composed of six hexagrams, so since it takes three "changes" to get one hexagram, how many "changes" does it take to get all six hexagrams?

This is too easy to calculate: 3× 6 = 18.

Thirty percent, 180 percent. Now you know, as the saying goes, "eighteen changes in women's universities" came from this. (Is this really the case? God knows)

Ok, now let's pretend to work it out over and over again, from question one to question six in turn. Our records on paper are six numbers from bottom to top: 8, 8, 6, 9, 8, 8.

Aren't these all Arabic numerals? What does it have to do with yin and yang?

Of course it matters!

First, divide the four numbers 6, 7, 8 and 9 into yin and yang-when you confuse others, you must say "divide yin and yang", but you should know clearly in your heart that the so-called "divide yin and yang" is actually "divide parity": 7 and 9 are odd numbers, so we call them "yang"; 6 and 8 are even numbers, so we call them "Yin". Specifically, in hexagrams, 7 and 9 are represented by yang, and 6 and 8 are represented by yin. In this way, "8, 8, 6, 9, 8, 8" just recorded on the paper can be changed into "Yin, Yin, Yin, Yang, Yin, Yin", that is, from "8, 9, 9, 7, 7, 6" to "Yin, Yang".

This hexagram has five yin hexagrams, the fourth hexagram is yang hexagram, and the painting is divination hexagram. How do I know what divination is? God, I can't remember, but I can't find it. In the future society, everyone needs the Book of Changes. You haven't got one yet, why don't you buy one? ............... omits the word 10000 below ...)

You can breathe a sigh of relief Now, we have finally figured out a complete divination!

Can you tell your fortune now?

-Not yet. There is still some work to be done.

Does anyone have any questions: Why did I just ask you to write the numbers 6, 7, 8 and 9 on paper? Wouldn't it be more convenient to directly convert it into yin-yang records?

I say this for a reason: don't think that there are only two kinds of yin and yang, but there are actually four kinds.

These four types are: Old Yin, Shaoyin, Lao Yang and Shaoyang.

These four emotions correspond to the numbers 6, 7, 8 and 9 respectively: 6 is old yin, 8 is young yin, 7 is young yang and 9 is Lao Yang. Take divination as an example. If we only look at the dichotomy of Yin and Yang, the composition of this hexagram is "Yin, Yin, Yin, Yang, Yin, Yin" (the six hexagrams are viewed from bottom to top in turn), but according to this quartile, its composition becomes: "Shaoyin, Shaoyin, Laoyin, Lao Yang, Shaoyin, Shaoyin. (8,8,6,9,8,8。 )

Now it involves an important principle of Zhouyi: the old becomes less and remains unchanged.

What do you mean "old"?

It's like a martial arts expert's move. When the first move is old, you have to change to the second move. So "old" means that things have developed to the end, and it is time to change. So, we now draw a new divination based on the six divination divinations before. In this new hexagram, the old hexagram was changed to Yang hexagram, and the original hexagram was changed to Yin hexagram, while both Shao Yin hexagram and Shao Yang hexagram were copied unchanged. So, on the basis of the idea, a new idea came into being, which is Qian idea.

In this change, we call divination primitive divination, and modesty is the change of thought. Look, this is the origin of the "change of heart" that we often say now.

If you change your mind, you will change your mind. In the original hexagram, the third heart number from bottom to top is 6, which is the old yin and the yang heart. The fourth number is 9, but it becomes yin. Therefore, the third and fourth divinations in divination are called "change of mind" at this time.

At this point, we have another heart, and finally we can predict good and bad luck. It's not easy!
