Historic sites in Kaizha village

Temple is a kind of cultural precipitation. In the past, there were many temples in Kaizha village. On days when there is no war, on holidays, cigarettes curl inside and outside the temple, the sound of wooden fish and the sound of long sirens wake the world, and the sound of chanting echoes over the village. The village is shrouded in mystery, tranquility and peace. There are Mandang Temple in the east of the village, Nengren Temple in the west, Xisi Temple (now a vocational middle school) and Ai 'an Temple in the northwest. These temples have no ruins except Nengren Temple.

Chinese scholar tree

It is planted in the courtyard of Zhangzha Town Middle School (formerly Notre Dame). The height of the tree is 2 1.7m, the bust is 6.6m, and the main height is 3. 12m ... The main branches are divided into two, and the branches are flourishing, showing ancient and lasting vitality.

Han Huai, who opened the door, enjoyed a thousand years of life, read all the spring scenery in the world and silently witnessed the vicissitudes of the world. According to folklore, Cao Cao, the prime minister of the Eastern Han Dynasty, once tied a war horse at Guhuai. In the fifth year of the Republic of China (19 16), Xu, then a county magistrate, erected a monument in northern Shu, engraved with the word "Han Huai". Wenshui, a longevity tree, was robbed twice. In the Ming Dynasty, during Zheng De's reign (1506- 152 1), the ancient Sophora japonica withered and died, and miraculously revived during Jiajing's reign (1522- 1566). In the 12th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, the Records of Wenshui County recorded: "There is an ancient tree in the temple, which has been passed down from generation to generation for more than a thousand years. Zheng De died in the Ming Dynasty and was reborn in Jiajing. At first, the abdomen was empty, and it was full of stones. After regeneration, it is solid inside and outside, such as a tender tree. " According to the Records of Wenshui County during the reign of Kangxi, the ancient Huai was four feet in diameter, so it was circulated for more than a thousand years, withered during the reign of Jiaqing, and regenerated during the reign of Jiaqing. At first, the abdomen was empty, and it was filled with stones. After regeneration, it was solid inside and outside, like a tender tree. 19 16, wenshui county magistrate continued to think about writing and carved an ancient pagoda for this purpose. The word "ancient pagoda" was as big as a bucket and stood under a tree.

Locals regard it as a sacred tree, and burn incense and sacrifice under it on holidays. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, the Japanese invaders occupied the floodgates and tried to cut down the ancient Sophora japonica. The masses were desperate to protect the tree, so that it survived, and only a part of its top was cut off.

This tree is the oldest tree in Wenshui now.

Nengren Temple (West Temple)

Nengren Temple, which opens the door, is located in the west of the village, and the villagers call it West Temple for short. According to the ancient monument, the West Temple is located in the castle, and the back wall of the temple is a part of the castle. The front of the temple was built in an old castle, which was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty in 424. It can be seen that Nengren Temple has a history of at least 1580 years. At present, the temple has been transformed into a rural nursing home, as well as the Guandi Temple and the ancient stage, as well as five ancient pagodas in the courtyard, which are growing well.

Nengren Temple was the center of temple fairs in the past. Because Nengren Temple has Guandi Temple, and the 15th day of the third lunar month is Guan Gong's birthday, every day people near Kaizha Village will come to Kaizha Nengren Temple to catch the temple fair. Later, due to the large population and small space, goods were placed in Kaiyang Street, the street where the West Temple was located, from west to east, making this street a market for gatherings.

In March 2002, the government of Wenshui County erected a stone tablet in front of Guandi Temple in the theater, and designated Guhuai and Nengren Temple as key cultural relics protection units in Wenshui County.

On June 2, 20 14 (the fifth day of the fifth lunar month), the newly built Temple of the West Temple Guandi was officially completed and opened during the Dragon Boat Festival.
