Difference between Old Yuhang and New Yuhang in Hangzhou

1. Historical background: Laoyuhang District has a history of more than 2,000 years and is the only county-level ancient town in Zhejiang with a history of more than 2,000 years. Hangzhou District of Xinyu City was formed by the merger of Yuhang County and Hangxian County, inheriting the county name of Yuhang County and the county government of Hangxian County.

2. Regional scope: Old Yuhang District mainly refers to the main area of the original Yuhang County, including Yuhang Town, Zhongtai Township, Pingyao, Cang Qian and other towns. Xinyu Hang District mainly refers to the location of the new county government in Yuhang District, generally referring to Linping, Nanyuan, donghu street and surrounding areas.
