How to quickly calculate the length of service in Excel table?

1. Open the Excel table and enter the basic information of employees. Because it is necessary to calculate the continuous working years/months of workers, it is necessary to know the starting working time and retirement working time of workers. The following figure shows the most basic information required.

2. Because the formula to be applied is: (year-year) x 12+ (month-month+1), so enter = (year-year) * 12+ (month-month+60+) in the cell of continuous service. Here you need to fill in the serial number of the series, which is the serial number of the column where the retirement time is located. You can click on the retirement time in this column, and the series will automatically appear in brackets.

3. After the function input is completed, click Enter to get the desired answer. If the format does not meet the requirements, select continuous length of service, click the right mouse button, and click Set Cell Format.

4. In the pop-up dialog box for setting cell format, select the numerical column, then customize the format of the debriefing report, and click OK after setting.

5. After the continuous calculation length of local workers comes out, select the cell. When the solid "+"appears in the lower right corner, drag down the lower right corner of the cell to calculate the number of months of continuous service for each person in the table.
