The works of Yunnan Opera, local ethnic drama and traditional poetry and calligraphy association won awards in Yunnan Province, China, and a number of powerful literary and artistic creation teams emerged. There are publications such as Lincang Literature and Art, Nantingjiang, Lincang Poetry and Cao Fang, and hundreds of literary books and periodicals are edited and published. In particular, Nanting River, a comprehensive publication sponsored by the Propaganda Department of Linxiang District Committee, has made a leap from the earliest intermittent publication to quarterly publication and then to bimonthly publication since its revision in 2006.
