Yunmeng County belongs to which province and which city.

Yunmeng County is located in the east of central Hubei Province, northeast of Jianghan Plain, bordering Anlu City in the north, Yingcheng City in the west, Hanchuan City in the south and Xiaonan District in the east, with a total area of 604 square kilometers.

During the Republic of China, Yunmeng County was subordinate to Jianghan Road, Hubei Province. In the fifteenth year of the Republic of China (1926), Jianghan Road was abandoned and Zhili Province was established. In the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932), Hubei Province established 1 1 administrative supervision area, with Yunmeng County as the fifth area.

In 25 years (1936), the fifth district was renamed the third district. In April of the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), Yunxiao County was established, and it was affiliated to the Hubei-Central Organization in Jianghan District of the Central Plains Liberated Area. In June of the 38th year of the Republic of China (1949), Yunxiao County was renamed Yunmeng County, which was subordinate to Xiaogan Administrative District (Special Zone) of Hubei Province.
