What is an economist?

An economist in a strict sense refers to an economist who has his own economic paradigm and original basic theory of economics. In the sense of science of science and history of science, the reason why an economist is an economist and the reason why an economist is higher than an economist lies in his own economic paradigm. From the perspective of the relationship between theory and practice, economists can not only explain economic phenomena, but also build economic models-theory first, then practice. Interpretation is the premise of construction, and construction is the completion of interpretation. Theoretical construction is the starting point of realistic construction, and realistic construction is the destination of theoretical construction. Only if the explanation is not constructed, then due to the complexity of the economic phenomenon, the economic explanation of the same economic reality will be infinitely diverse, and eventually it will fall into a war of words of "the blind touch the elephant, the public is right, and the woman is right." Such an "economic explanation" has no practical significance.
