The Confucian Temple is a temple building to commemorate and sacrifice Confucius, a great thinker, politician and educator in China. Confucius Temple in Qufu, Shandong Province: Qufu Confucius Temple was founded in 478 BC, located in the south gate of Qufu City, Shandong Province. It is the first temple dedicated to Confucius, with the former residence of Confucius as the temple and built according to the specifications of the palace. From 220 AD to before liberation, Confucius Temple was rebuilt and expanded more than 70 times.
