Fu or Pei in Fuling?

Fuling District is one of the jurisdictions of Chongqing, which is located in the middle of Chongqing and the hinterland of the Three Gorges reservoir area. Located at the intersection of the Yangtze River and Wujiang River, it has always been called the gateway to southeast Sichuan. Economically, it is located in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Shuangcheng Economic Circle in Chengdu-Chongqing area.

The junction of Wujiang River mainstream development zone and Wulingshan poverty alleviation development zone has a strategic position of connecting the east with the west and radiating Wujiang River. It is an important strategic fulcrum city of Chongqing metropolitan area, the core city of Chongqing one-hour economic circle and the eastern central city of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.

Fuling District is located in the transition zone between "Pandong Mountain Valley" and "Wushan Dalou Mountain Zhongshan District" in the east of Sichuan Basin, with an altitude of 200-800 meters, the lowest point of three stones in Nantuo Town 138 meters, and the highest point of Cao Mo Bay, the main peak of Wuling Mountain, 2033 meters.

The terrain in the territory is mostly valley hills and low mountains. The Yangtze River is 77 kilometers long from east to west and the Wujiang River is 33 kilometers long from north to south. Generally speaking, the terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest, and the northwest-southeast section is in a symmetrical saddle shape inclined to the middle of the Yangtze River basin.
