However, western astrology, including India, is all about 2. Birth astrology is to infer the fate of a person's life according to the astronomical phenomena at birth. Anyone, whether royal or ordinary, can establish contact with astronomical phenomena. This thought was introduced into China with Buddhism, which gave birth to the eight-character fortune-telling in Tang Dynasty in China. This contains a kind of "fatalism" thought aimed at ordinary life, because the day is fixed at birth, and the fate of people is also fixed. This thought hardly existed in China before the Tang Dynasty. Here I will analyze it from the perspective of artistic figures.
The so-called Shu Shu, also known as Shu Shu, "Shu Shu" refers to qi number and mathematics, and Shu Shu is the method of calculating qi number. Just a set of languages, such as gossip, 28 stars.
"Three types" are the oldest tricks, which are said to have originated in the period of the Yellow Emperor. The "three styles", namely, Taiyi Shenshu, Daoshu and Liu Ren, are named because they all come from "plates". All three are related to astronomical phenomena, and their essence can be said to be astrology.
The number of Taiyi gods mainly measures national events, such as harvest, wind and rain, flood and drought, famine caused by war, and the rise and fall of chaos.
Daoist magic mainly measures the war situation, such as where to attack and where to retreat.
Liu Ren is mainly responsible for measuring personnel, such as measuring ancestral home, marriage and seeking wealth.
The measurement range of "three categories" is very wide, but the common feature is that they are all counting "things" rather than "lives". In other words, there is no fatalism. Surprisingly, the survey results are consistent with traditional ethics. For example, all kinds of setbacks of a friend are caused by confusion between men and women. However, it is also true, which obviously does not conform to traditional morality. Therefore, there is a saying that "those who are good at easy things do not anticipate", which explains the true connotation of easy things (a part of ethics) and naturally knows the good and bad of something. This sentence is especially obvious in Zuo Zhuan.
Traditionally, both emperors and ordinary people should follow the ethics of heaven. The result of following or not following is that emperors are lucky and rare, and ordinary people are blessed or cursed. The results of the "three categories" survey reflect this direction. However, some facts show that "following morality is still not good", which is the reason why Tai Shigong suspects.
Geomantic omen is called geography in ancient times. It is mainly aimed at the location and construction of Yin house, and also involves the location and decoration of Yang house.
In the preface of Xie Ji's Prescription Book, which was revised in Qing Dynasty, Gan Long wrote: Xie Ji's husband distinguishes prescriptions, respects heaven and local discipline, and speaks when heaven and earth are real, and the situation is very great. If so, it's auspicious, if so, it's fierce, if so, it's blessing, if so, it's disaster, if it's clear, it's blessing. Although between respect and disrespect, good and bad luck will follow.
The general idea is that the skill of feng shui in choosing good or bad luck is to imitate heaven and earth, not to say that it must be good, but it must be fierce. This is because it respects heaven, and since it respects heaven, it will inevitably accompany Kyrgyzstan.
It can be seen that the choice of geomantic omen and auspiciousness is also permeated with the idea of "harmony between man and nature", mainly to connect with heaven, so choose something, not just for luck.
As mentioned above, astrology, which uses the astronomical phenomena at birth to measure a person's life fate, is called "birth astrology". This astrology did not exist in China before the Tang Dynasty. It was not until the introduction of the Indian Seven Obsidian Technique that this typical "birth astrology" was introduced but not widely spread, because it linked the astronomical phenomena with the fate of ordinary people and was considered great in ancient China, where imperial power was supreme. But ordinary people also have the appeal of exploring their own destiny, so the eight-character fortune-telling came into being.
As the name implies, eight-character fortune telling is to calculate fate with eight characters. The so-called horoscope, that is, the time of a person's birthday, is expressed by the time method. For example, Wang Yangming's horoscope is [Renchen Xinhai Guihai], which means year, month and day respectively. This kind of fortune-telling cleverly avoids the real astronomical phenomena, the imperial palace. Among them, there is an out-and-out fatalism that the good or bad luck of a person's life is completely determined by his birthday, which has never changed. Fatalistic prophets have an obvious tendency to be too poor and love the rich, because under this idea, poverty is immutable. So what if I don't like you?
Personally, I don't like this fatalism.
Considering the introduction of the seven obsidians in India and the time when the eight characters appeared, this kind of fortune-telling should be influenced by the fatalism of birth stars. Indian thought was introduced into Middle Earth with Buddhism, but fatalism was not the purpose of Buddhism.
Buddhism talks about the cause and effect of the third world, the cause of the previous life, the fruit of this life, the cause of this life and the fruit of the next life.
If you only look at this life, can't you change the experience of this life? Admittedly, most of them cannot be changed, because what was planted in the last life will bear fruit in this life. This kind of power is called karma, which is so powerful that ordinary people can't resist it. Unless you swear to do good deeds, such as the famous Yuan Lefan layman, his good deeds are enough for him to get good results in the afterlife. Because the kindness is too great, it also affects this life in advance, so his fate in this life is correspondingly better.
Three generations of cause and effect can solve Tai Shigong's problem. If we only look at the cause and effect of life, it really can't be explained.
Looking back at "The Sense of Heaven and Man" and ethics is definitely positive for improving fate. For ordinary people, although it doesn't involve too much "feeling between heaven and man", they should follow ethics, that is, respect for heaven. Many people think that Buddhism is very negative, which is completely misunderstood. In fact, Buddhism is very active, actively learning and doing good deeds, so that disciples should not covet the joy of meditation, but take action.
In short, we should respect the law of heaven, follow ethics, firmly believe that cause and effect are true, study hard and do good deeds.
As for fatalism, for those who are unable to change their destiny, it is just self-consolation.
The ethics formulated by the sages are consistent with the cause and effect of Buddhism III, and the goal is the same, that is, to persuade people to do all evil and pursue all good.
The above are actually secular laws, and Buddhists have higher pursuits.
Buddhists believe that even if a person is blessed, he has a lot of suffering. Just as movement and stillness are relative, so are bitterness and pleasure. There are joys and sorrows.
There are eight pains in life: the pain of life, the pain of old age, the pain of illness, the pain of death, the pain of resentment, the pain of love, the pain of wanting nothing more, and the five pains.
Based on the viewpoint that life is bitter, the Buddha pointed out how to jump out of the cycle of reincarnation while talking about the cause and effect of the third world. People's self-nature is pure, there is no reincarnation, but people will have delusions. If they have delusions, they will act, create karma and plant seeds, so that they will be reborn under the traction of karma after death. The six divisions in the wheel of karma have no end. The key to the problem is delusion, and how to subdue the inner delusion is what the whole Diamond Sutra says.
Outstanding people, only one of the six roads has the convenience of hearing and learning Buddhism. The road to hell is tortured to no leisure, the road to the beast is too poor, the road to the hungry ghost and the road to Asura are too angry, the happiness of heaven is too prosperous, but the blessings of heaven are exhausted, so we have to settle for the next best. So only human nature is convenient for listening and learning.
"If you don't practice, go back to Baoshan empty-handed." If you strive for perfection, you are not a man.
