Does Nanming tell fortune _ What is Nanming?

Is there really a million troops in Nanming in history?

According to known records, the number of soldiers paid is 50,000 in Zuo Liangyu, 30,000 in each of the four towns, 60,000 in Jingying (Nanjing) and 120,000 in the southeast of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Fujian. The main force of Nanming in the front line of Jianghuai is more than 350,000. When the Qing army went south, the Qing army dropped nearly 240,000 Ming troops as it wished, and almost all the Ming troops in Jiangbei fell, so there were only 200,000 soldiers who could fight. Let's take a closer look at this history.

In A.D. 1644 (Chongzhen 17), Li Zicheng overthrew the Ming Dynasty, and Shanhaiguan retreated to Xi 'an after the defeat. The Qing army settled in the capital. Nanming axe king and Zhu Yousong proclaimed themselves emperors in Nanking, which was the regime of Nanming Hong Guang. Only one year later, the Hong Guang regime was overthrown. Why?

1645, the Qing army attacked from two directions and defeated Li Zicheng to occupy Guanzhong. Dourgen then ordered the soldiers to split into two roads. One route led by Aziger fled to Li Zicheng, Huguang, and the other route led by Duoduo left Tongguan from Xi 'an in the east and attacked Nanming in the south. At this time, Nanming monarch and ministers were still busy fighting for power and profit, with constant party struggles and Wu being playful and enterprising. Although many people of insight could see the situation clearly and put forward suggestions, they were not adopted by Hong Guang.

Duoduo led the troops from Hulao Pass to the east, passed through Zhengzhou and Kaifeng, and captured Guide (now Shangqiu, Henan). Hulao Pass, a familiar name, if you like Romance of the Three Kingdoms, you must know the story of Liu San's brothers fighting Lu Bu in Hulao Pass. Although it is a fictional story, Hulao Pass became famous for his popularity.

Hulao Pass is located in Xishui Town, about15km northwest of Xingyang City, Henan Province. Hulao Pass, named after the tigers kept in captivity in Zhou Muwang, is the east gate of Luoyang, the east capital. Hulao Pass is bordered by Songshan Mountain in the south and the Yellow River in the north. Easier to defend than to attack. Has always been a battleground for military strategists. There are countless wars in Li Shimin, Hulao Pass and Dou Jiande.

Returning to Germany after the occupation, many soldiers were divided into two ways. One route was led by Gushan Ejina Tower from Xuzhou and Suqian to Huai 'an. Duoduo led the main force from Bozhou and Suzhou to Sizhou (now Xuyi, Jiangsu), and then joined forces with Yangzhou. The Qing army rushed forward with little resistance, and a large number of Ming generals surrendered to the city. The Qing army crossed the Huaihe River and soon arrived at the gates of Yangzhou.

Yangzhou City Shoujiang is under the jurisdiction of Liu, Liu, Liu and other company commanders, and Shi Kefa is the governor. So the troops rushed out, and Shi Kefa and Liu held fast to Yangzhou, but they were weak. Although Shi Kefa came to the towns to help, no reinforcements arrived. One day, the Qing army stormed, Yangzhou city was broken, Shi Kefa would rather die than surrender, and Liu died. The Qing army went all the way south, and the Ming defenders all went smoothly, and they fell down without encountering obstacles. Only Yangzhou, an angry Qing army massacre.

Yangzhou has been broken, and the surrendered Ming generals led a sneak attack on Nanjing, crossed the river in the fog and occupied Zhenjiang. Zhu Yousong, Hong Guang and Ma Shiying fled overnight with their families, while North Korean ministers were still in the dark. The next day, the courtiers found that the emperor had escaped, and it was broken in an instant, and then the civil and military officials greeted the Qing army. Nanjing's solid city defense has completely become a decoration.

Liu Liangzuo and other 230,000 troops surrendered to the Qing Dynasty, and Liu Liangzuo was one of the four towns in Jiangbei that Nanming relied on, which was really sad. Alex Gao, one of the four towns, was a foolish and headstrong man who was deceived and killed by Xu Dingguo in Suizhou (now Suixian County, Shangqiu City, Henan Province). Liu Zeqing, one of the four towns, is guarding Hefei. When the Qing army went south, he abandoned the city and fled to the sea. Later, he also fell to the Qing Dynasty.

Huang Degong, the last of the four towns in Jiangbei, was transferred to Wuhu by the rebel Zuo Liangyu Department downstream at this time. Wuhu is located in the south of Anhui, with mountainous areas in the south and natural barrier of the Yangtze River in the north. It has an important strategic position and is an important gateway to defend the Yangtze River and Nanjing.

Emperor Hong Guang fled from Huang Degong of Wuhu to seek refuge in Wuhu. As a result, Huang Degong was chased after him, and Liu Liangzuo, who was cleared of charges, shot himself. Huang Degong was one of the most manly men in the four northern buffer regions of the Ming Dynasty. Although he did not sacrifice much, he was loyal to his country. Compared with those civil servants who rushed to surrender, he was much stronger in the future. Emperor Zhu Yousong of Hong Guang was captured, and the regime of Nanming Hong Guang was destroyed.

There is also a military commander of the Ming Dynasty who has to mention that Zuo Liangyu and Hou Ningnan guarded Wuchang with Chu's self-esteem. Zuo Liangyu commanded an army of 200,000 troops, but he dared not confront Li Zicheng or Azig of the Qing army at the critical moment. He led troops to Nanking in the name of the Qing army except Ma Shiying under the guise of the secret edict of the pseudo-prince, in fact, in order to avoid war and escape. This move was more harmful than simply abandoning the city and fleeing, which led to the Nanming court being attacked on both sides, the troops being scattered and lost in an instant, which gave the Ming court a heavy blow. Zuo Liangyu died in the boat on the way, and his son led 200,000 troops to surrender to Azig.

The reason why the Hong Guang regime in Nanming was defeated so quickly was decided from the beginning.

First, the mistakes in supporting the establishment faction made the party struggle more intense and the remaining problems emerged one after another.

On the important issue of establishing Zhu Yousong or Zhu Changfang, the king of Lu, Shi Kefa, who has the decision-making power, hesitated, even playing with mud between the two factions and putting forward a plan to help Guangxi, which became more and more chaotic. Therefore, Ma Shiying, a speculator, joined forces with military commanders Alex Gao, Huang Degong and Liu Liangzuo to forcibly establish the Axe King, which played a decisive role. Shi Kefa, because the letter of the axe king was untenable for seven reasons, came to Ma Shiying's hand, and he had to give up the position of secretary of record to Ma Shiying, which led to the power of North Korea falling into the hands of a gang of hooligans.

Second, Zhu Yousong, emperor of Hong Guang, really can't do it. He is a master of national subjugation.

Hong Guang, Emperor of the Southern Ming Dynasty, was indeed an extremely unreliable, fatuous and dissolute emperor. As Shi Kefa said in his letter to Ma Shiying? Greed, lewd, drunk, unfilial, abusive, not reading, interfering with the company? Zhu Yousong didn't learn from Wu Ming at all. As soon as he ascended the throne, he began to clean up the palace, choose concubines everywhere, live in luxury, drink too much and kill people, and get to the point. At that time, some people called Zhu Yousong as weak as Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty, as stupid as he was, as dissolute as he was, and as a master of national subjugation.

Third, military commanders should respect themselves.

Because Zhu Yousong is not liked by party member, he can only rely on generals such as Alex Gao, Huang Degong, Liu Liangzuo and Ma Shiying. Four buffer zones in the north of the Yangtze River were set up, and governors were appointed to comfort these military commanders, causing them to be arrogant, domineering and poisoning the people. When the real enemy was in sight, he didn't want to lay down his life to serve the country, but in order to protect his family, he immediately surrendered and pointed the finger at Nan Ming.

Fourth, the strategy of uniting with Lu Pingkou is extremely short-sighted.

From the beginning of the establishment of Nanming, there was an illusion of favoring the south of the Yangtze River from top to bottom, even afraid of offending the Qing court, and sent people to kneel down for peace, hoping that Qi Xin would work together to eliminate Li Zicheng's Dashun and rule the great river. This is just wishful thinking. With the progress of the war, the Qing court paid less and less attention to Nanming.

The main force of the Qing army fought fiercely with Dashun Army in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan. After the retreat of Lushun Army in Shandong and Hebei, the forces of the Qing army were also empty, and the anti-Qing forces were expecting Julian Waghann to go north. As a result, Nan Ming is still busy fighting among himself. For a year, the troops did not dare to make progress and missed too many opportunities. If Zhu Yuanzhang comes back from the dead, he can be angry several times.

Of course, there are many reasons that can't be listed one by one, but the most critical one is that the court in Hong Guang in Nanming was so short-lived, and the party struggle caused great internal friction. Lin Dong party member, who claimed to be a gentleman, had an unshirkable responsibility.
