How do you know how much virtue you have accumulated and what is the unit of calculation?

The general unit is "time" or "thing", and a hundred thousand merits means doing a hundred thousand good deeds, or the amount equivalent to doing a hundred thousand good deeds.

Don't think it's easy. You don't know what to do when doing good deeds. Sometimes doing good deeds may not be able to accumulate virtue, such as saving a murderer, but if you get a good influence, you can't influence yourself.

Nowadays, people who engage in religion are good at bragging. If they are prepared to do trivial things, they will say that their merits are boundless, and that they are 100,000 times a billion times, which is purely self-psychological comfort.
