What is the gossip of Jiugong?

Jiugong divides the Heavenly Palace into nine equal parts: Gan Palace, Kang Palace, Geng Palace, Gong Zhen Palace, Zhong Palace, Gong Xun Palace, Li Palace, Gong Kun Palace and Dui Palace. At night, the seven obsidians and stars move from the ground to judge what will happen in the future.

Eight diagrams represent heaven with stem, earth with Kun, water with ridge, fire with distance, thunder with earthquake, mountain with roots and wind with rafters. When they are matched with each other, they get sixty-four hexagrams, representing all natural phenomena, including personnel.

Nine palaces and eight diagrams are used together, just like determining coordinates with latitude and longitude, which makes the result more accurate.
