Steel is strong, but fire can melt it.

Fierce fire is powerful, but flood can put it out.

The flood is powerful, but the sun can evaporate it.

The sun is strong, but clouds can cover it.

Dark clouds are strong, but strong winds can blow them away.

The storm is powerful, but the mountains can resist it.

The mountain is strong, but climbers can conquer it.

Conquest is powerful, but death always threatens it.

Death is powerful, but the yogi can overcome it.

Therefore, people with faith are strong. With confidence, he can overcome difficulties, combat setbacks, walk all over the thorns and go to the future, even without fear of death.

A wise man is a strong man. He understands things, distinguishes right from wrong, deeply understands everything, makes rational decisions and helps others.

Modest and gentle people are strong. He can accept adversity without provocation, strong and tenacious.

Strong, there is no absolute, because a strong hand has its own strong hand, and there are people outside, and there are days behind. For people, compassion is the greatest and cause and effect is the strongest.

It is irresponsible and lazy to try to escape by "leaving" when encountering adversity and setbacks. The world is for yourself, and success will not fall from the sky. Don't judge things by emotions, have a sense of right and wrong, don't just look at the "consequences" in everything, but trace back to the "reasons".

Because people often compare with each other and care about each other, they think others are unfair to me, which causes a lot of troubles.

Everyone wants others to treat me fairly, but "although Buddhism is equal in principle", "there is a causal difference between things". It is difficult for secular laws to achieve absolute fairness because of personal subjective and emotional factors. Even the law is often influenced by objective factors, and it is difficult to achieve absolute fairness.

The real fairness in the world is "cause and effect"; No matter who is a senior official or a pawn, under the causal law of "good is rewarded with good, evil with evil", no one can get a loan or a special experience.

There is no need to be angry that the human world is full of utilitarianism and lacks justice, what's more, there is no jurisprudence and fairness in a tragic society. Before cause and effect, everyone is equal.

Everyone can say the word "cause and effect"; But the meaning of the word "cause and effect" may not be understood by everyone.

Mortals can only know the "fruit", but not the "cause"; As the saying goes, "Bodhisattva fears the cause, while all beings fear the fruit".

People, when creating all kinds of evil "causes", do not know the seriousness; Once the "fruit" came, I realized that something bad was happening, but it was too late to regret it.

Most people complain about others when they fail and hate you and him; He doesn't know that "pushing the cause by the result" must be the wrong reason, which will lead to such a result. Ordinary people in society often only know one thing and don't know another. For example, some people blame their parents for being unkind, but they don't know that their parents are unkind because their children are stubborn. Some people blame their parents for the "result" of their children's unfilial behavior, but they don't know that it is "because" their parents lost their virginity that their children will be unfilial. Therefore, how can we know the truth and give fairness and justice to the facts without "pushing the fruit to find the cause" in everything?

Some people who don't know cause and effect often misunderstand cause and effect. For example, why do people who recite scripture and do good deeds suffer misfortune? What is the cause and effect of justice? I don't know if this person's debt in causal bank has not been paid. Just because he is a good man and has done good deeds, he doesn't have to pay his debts.

Similarly, some people do evil, kill thieves and commit adultery, but enjoy all the splendor. What is the cause and effect? In fact, he has a deposit in Causality Bank. Just because he is doing evil now, he is not allowed to use his original savings. Therefore, the "causal" person has the relationship of past, present, future and three generations of cycles.

When we see plants blossom and bear fruit, we think someone must have sown the reason; When we see a kind person, we think there will be a good result in the future.

The connotation of true cause and effect is actually the law of good and evil in the universe!

Who will decide the fate?

When people get lost, they will want to tell fortune and ask God for directions. The biggest drawback of labels is that they give people bad luck, but they don't consider cause and effect. In fact, signing contracts in life is not controlled by God, but made by their own actions.

People wandering in confusion, it is best to ask themselves: is this moral? Is it fair? Right? Is it legal? Don't just ask for a sign. Life should be explained to cause and effect, to yourself, not to the gods.

Japanese people like to give bells as gifts, because "bell" and "money" are homophonic, representing prosperity and wealth; However, in China, sending bells is taboo, because there is a homonym of "farewell". In China, a crow represents bad luck, but in the United States and Japan, it is a magpie. Therefore, good luck and bad luck are terms that people imagine and bind themselves.

In fact, the quality of everything around us has nothing to do with color, orientation and numbers. Good and bad are karma. If you want to get good results, you must have good karma and good karma.

There are loopholes in the world.

There was an emperor who traveled incognito and used to lead a life of giving orders. Once he went out incognito, and no one flattered him. He was very uncomfortable. One day, I came to the country, hot and thirsty. The farmer by the roadside gave me a cup of tea. The emperor drank nectar. After returning to Beijing, he immediately sent someone to the farmer's home and sealed an official title. When a local scholar learned about this, he was upset, so he wrote a poem in the land temple: "A cup of tea is worse than a cold window for ten years!" A few years later, the emperor visited this place again. He knew why when he saw this poem, so he quietly added two sentences: "He is not as good as you, and your life is not as good as him!" "

Many things in the world are unfair at first glance. Power, wealth, wisdom and stupidity, beauty and ugliness, and luck all make people unfair. This is also one of the leaking phenomena. It is impossible to ask everyone to be equal. If we look at the principle of "self-employment and self-suffering", it is also a constant occurrence that the rich become poor and the poor become rich. Therefore, in karma, everyone's fate is still fair. You had money in the bank in your last life, and you can benefit from it in this life, but you will soon run out of money if you don't accumulate it. You were heavily in debt in your last life, and of course you were embarrassed in this life, but it's not too late to start saving money now. So don't complain about fairness! There is a poem for your reference:

Good heart and good life, rich and old; Life is not smooth, and happiness becomes an ominous sign;

A good heart and a bad life turn disasters into blessings; Heart and life are bad, suffering and poverty.

The heart can hold life, and the most important thing is the benevolent; Life is made by the heart, and good or bad is called by people;

If you believe in life and don't cultivate your heart, yin and yang will be empty and positive; Heaven and earth protect themselves when you obey the orders of your mind.

Why do many people do good things without being rewarded? Because there are too many gaps in his body, mouth and heart, his blessings and merits will naturally be missed.

Doing good, if unwilling, unwilling, will hurt the dignity of the recipient. If you do good deeds, the merits of giving will be missed.

You have done a lot of good things to help others. If you keep pushing yourself up and inflating yourself, others will criticize you rather than convince you, indicating that your strengths are missing.

On weekdays, I say good things, do good deeds and be a good person, and have accumulated a lot of merits and blessings. When you suddenly encounter adversity, you will be full of complaints, outspoken and complaining. The original good deeds will be missed.

Make money while wasting it; Planting and trampling, this is a leaking world, leaking beings.

It is very important to be cautious in words and deeds, take care of yourself, and never let the three industries miss our "blessing".

Genes are karma.

The code of life, according to scientists now, has been worked out, and that is "gene"! In fact, the code of life-another way of saying genes-karma, the Buddha has been made public as early as 2500 years ago. If the code name "gene" of life only says that it is like a cell and a unit, genes are not enough to explain life, so it should be more appropriate to use "karma".

Karma is an act of body and mind, including good karma, bad karma and unemployment. "if there are hundreds of robberies, the work will not die", as long as the good and evil created by the body and mind will be stored in the warehouse of the industry like a computer; "When karma meets, karma pays for itself." When karma between good and evil matures, everything must pay for itself. This is the law of unchangeable karma.

"karma" is really a great discovery of Buddha. People, from past lives to this life, from this life to the afterlife, are mainly because "karma" is like a rope, which connects the "life and death" from generation to generation, without losing a little or missing a little.

"Life is immortal" because of "karma", such as going to Qiu Lai in spring, and the coolness in autumn becomes the warmth in spring; "One river flows eastward", everything is reincarnation, it is reincarnation. Nothing can be destroyed except the password of life. It will never be broken and will exist forever.

Genes can only explain the factors of a person's life, but Buddhist karma includes not only individual karma, the so-called "other karma", but also "common karma". For example, why are some people born in the same family? Born in the same village and family? These are all "ordinary industries". People from all sides were in the same boat or crashed on the same plane. Some people died in the graves, and some people survived. This is the difference between "general business" and "other business".

Therefore, scientists have discovered the code of life-genes, hoping to develop the relationship between genes in life communities.

The code of life, because of different genes, has developed different life forms. Our karma will be current and will have results, so-called "now newspaper", "birth newspaper" and "later newspaper" The "present report" is like a seed, spring ploughing and autumn harvest; The "birth report" is sowing this year and harvesting next year; The "post-newspaper" was planted this year and it will take many years to harvest it. The so-called "not failing to report" is just "the time has not yet come."

Buddhist "karma" is an irrefutable truth, an inevitable, eternal and equal truth; The development of scientists' "genes" only explains the content and function of "karma" more clearly, that's all!

Seek happiness from afar

Everyone hopes to "seek good fortune and avoid evil, and seek good fortune and avoid evil"; However, things are changing and everything is not satisfactory.

When you encounter property losses, family changes, or your own disasters, don't completely blame others. The disaster has been formed, which means that the fire is spreading and it is not easy to put out. You should be compassionate and upright. Sometimes disasters turn into blessings.

There is a story in Huai Nan Zi: An old man lost a horse and was very sad. But not in the future, the lost old horse brought back a good horse, and the old man was very happy because he lost a horse. But soon, because his son was not familiar with the nature of horses, he was injured when he was riding a horse, so he felt that horses were a scourge again. At that time, it coincided with the war, and the country recruited able-bodied men to go to war. Because of the injury, his son was exempted from enlistment and finally saved his life. Therefore, it is said that "a blessing in disguise is a blessing in disguise".

In fact, each of us should know the so-called "misfortune is a portrayal of cause and effect, and cause and effect is the law of misfortune"; Usually, we should pay attention to what we do and cultivate good karma, so as to eliminate disasters and avoid disasters.

The most easily overlooked point for ordinary people is that when people are proud, they often plant the seeds of "arrogance will fail". Laozi said: "The disaster is greater than dissatisfaction"; Buddhism says, "there is no greater disaster than the three poisons." The three poisons are greed, anger and delusion. Cai Gentan also said: "It never rains but it pours." If we want to avoid disasters and seek happiness, we must cultivate our own self-cultivation, such as "thinking behind closed doors", "bowing our heads and introspection", "forging more good relationships", "increasing compassion" and "eliminating hatred" The so-called right knowledge and right view, there is no selfish evil, so whatever it is, it must be blessed and far from disaster!

There are reasons for gains and losses. It is mine. You don't have to fight for it, you will get it. Not yours. Even if you try your best to get it, it will still float in the wind.

Sometimes it's not good to win, and sometimes it's good to lose. Between the gains and losses, what goes around comes around doesn't envy people. Even if you get it, you should make good use of it; When it is lost, it will come again as long as you have enough conditions.

Life, without money and capital, will start again; Losing personality and morality is not easy to recover.

It is easy to win people, but difficult to win people's hearts; It is difficult to win people's hearts, but it is easy to lose them. Between gains and losses, there is a rich philosophy of life.

Talk to the valley, and the echo of the valley is your original sound presentation. You say "I love you" to the valley, and the valley will return your "I love you"; You shout "I hate you" to the valley, and the valley will give you "I hate you" back. Some people are happy, others are unfortunate, which seems to be an external cause. In fact, luck and misfortune are only for others! Is it a curse or a blessing? Master can't breach the contract!

The power of smoking

Ancient peasant women put lavender in their wardrobes to make their clothes full of fragrance, which is the power of "incense".

"Fumigation" is a kind of appeal and an influence. Saint Amethyst said, "The beginning of life is good in essence; Sex is similar and learning is far away. " Confucianism says that "those who are close to ink are black, those who are close to ink are black" and "always learn", which is also the power of smoking and learning.

Buddhism advocates "learning more", also called "learning more from Xiu De". Moral cultivation depends not only on the words and deeds of ancient sages, parents and teachers, but also on environmental education. Environment can make a person unconsciously change his temperament under the influence of long-term exposure. The so-called "orange gives birth to bitter orange", the oranges planted in Huainan are transplanted to Huaibei to give birth to bitter orange; In ancient times, because of the "Three Movements of Meng Mu", the later Yasheng Mencius came into being, which shows the power of environmental edification and cannot be ignored.

Fumigation is to contact the realm through eyes, ears, nose and tongue, and then leave seeds in the field of eight senses. When the career is mature, it will appear and become an inertia in words and deeds, called "habit" and "habit".

Habit is like a bottle full of perfume. Even if you use perfume, the fragrance on the bottle will last for a long time. Habits are like seeds, although flowers bloom and fall, as long as they bear fruit and leave seeds, they will become the beginning of the next life. Therefore, Buddhism has the so-called "hard study", which also says: "Worry is easy to change, but habit is hard to get rid of".

Two women selling fish stayed in a fish restaurant for a long time, but they didn't go home for a day, so they stayed in a hotel full of flowers. They stayed up all night, then had to take out the fish basket and finally fell asleep sweetly in the fishy smell.

Knowing the power of "smoking", we should constantly remind ourselves to form good habits, remember people and things that are good, kind and beautiful in peacetime, and leave the seeds of goodness and beauty; With good karma, why worry about life without good karma?

Get rid of habits

Everyone has habits, everyone has habits. Habits are mostly neither good nor bad, such as eating well, buying well, sleeping well and looking beautiful, which are all habits; Habits are good and bad, such as neatness, modesty, politeness, smiling, etc. Bad hobbies, such as gambling, alcohol and tobacco, laziness, etc.

Habits can be changed. As long as you are determined, you can get rid of bad habits. Habit, like karma, not only affects life, but even the afterlife. For example, although Niu Sizun is a arhat, his mouth keeps coming and going, because he used to be a cow and horse for several generations and his habits are still there; Although Mahayana has proved its success, when I hear music, I can't help dancing around. It's all because I didn't break my habit.

If you get into bad habits, you will certainly hurt yourself; Just like a rusty sword, if you don't sharpen it with a fast stone, how can it be powerful? Decay wood, if not reinforced, how can it become building materials?

Nature is influenced by the habits of the world, and it takes considerable efforts to get rid of the polluted habits. Just like a thousand-year-old mirror stained with dust, how can it see the light if it is not wiped regularly?

Life dictionary

Some people can't stand other people's records all their lives, while others can't. Even some people have a good record of life. He can write biographies and history and leave the records to the public.

The current plane crash is recorded by a black box, so as to interpret the cause of the crash; Earthquake prevention or earthquake degree measurement is also recorded by seismographs. In fact, our life also has karma to record our good and evil cause and effect; What we have done in this life is clearly recorded in Araille's mind, so we should pay attention to the record of life.

Everyone has his own "life dictionary".

The "life dictionary" not only records our lives, but also records the past from generation to generation until the infinite future. We can look up our merits and demerits, good and evil, what we do, what we say and think in the dictionary of life.

There is no word "difficult" in Napoleon's dictionary; There is no word "bitter" in Socrates' dictionary, so they can all set an example for future generations.

The dictionary of life has classification, loyal subjects, dutiful sons, famous soldiers, cowards, gentlemen and villains. ...

In some people's life dictionaries, sympathy occupies half of the dictionary; Some people's life dictionaries are filled with the fragrance of wisdom between the lines.
