Now the red tassel on the woodpecker's head was given by Guanyin that time.

Guanyin said, "As long as you bite the golden drum open, I will give you five grains."

The mouse agreed, bit and bit, and finally bit the golden drum open. So Guanyin gave it food. So now rats are eating people's food everywhere.

The golden drum bit open and the two brothers and sisters came out, but their bodies were connected and inseparable. Guanyin had to ask the swallow for help, saying that as long as the two brothers and sisters were separated, they were allowed to live in other people's homes. The swallow agreed, and it cut the two brothers and sisters with its wings faster than a knife. From then on, swallows are different from other birds and can live under people's eaves.

However, the two still refused. Guanyin added, "Each of you carries a millstone and rolls from the top of the mountain to the valley. When the two millstones are put together, you become husband and wife. " Brother and sister had no choice but to move a millstone and roll it from the top of the mountain to the bottom. They got married. No house, build a wedding room with branches and leaves of chestnut trees; If there is no host, please ask the pine tree to be the host; If there is no matchmaker, please ask Shu Mei to be the matchmaker. If you don't pass a cup, please ask Uncle Tao to pass one.

Up to now, when Bai people get married, they are used to hanging chestnut leaves in the wedding room, planting pine trees in front of the door and using peach blossoms when handing cups. It is said that this is the reason.
