Brief introduction of Zhang Tianshi Zhang Daoling

Zhang Daoling

Zhang Daoling is Sean's eighth grandson. He is nine feet three inches long, with heavy eyebrows, red top and green eyes, a straight nose and three horns in his eyes. He hung his hands on his knees, had a thick beard and walked majestically. Hanguang Wujin Wu was born in Tianmu Mountain for ten years, and his mother dreamed that the giant claimed to be a kuixing. Wearing gorgeous clothes, I gave her a beautiful flower. His mother took it, and when she woke up, she only felt that the room was full of strange smells and would not leave for a whole month. This led to her pregnancy. On the day Zhang Daoling was born, Huang Yun enveloped the house and purple gas filled the yard. The indoor brilliance is like the sun and the moon, and I have been smelling Richie for a long time.

Zhang Daoling was brilliant since he was a child. At the age of seven, I studied Laozi's Tao Te Ching, and I knew everything about astronomy and geography. Later, he was elected as an upright official. But although he was an official, he was determined to practice Buddhism and soon lived in seclusion in Beiqiu Mountain. A white tiger was sent to his sofa with a spell. Han and Emperor once named him a teacher and the Hou of Jixian County, but he declined three times. He later went to Sichuan and fell in love with the beautiful mountains and rivers there, so he lived in seclusion in heming. There is a stone crane on the mountain. Every time it calls, it means that someone with good words is coming. Zhang Daoling painstakingly cultivated the monastery here, and soon heard the cries of cranes.

Zhang Daoling and disciple Wang Chang practiced Dragon and Tiger Great Dan together. One year was a red light district, two years was a dragon and tiger to protect Dante, and three years later he became a real person. Before long, he met the guidance of the divine man and became the highest Taoist skill. He can fly in the sky, hear distant sounds and be invisible at once. For example, he can row a boat on the pool while reciting poems in class, which is unpredictable.

One night during the reign of Shun Di, the old gentleman came to his residence and gave him male and female swords and many runes, so that he could eradicate the six ghosts and gods that were rampant in Sichuan. Zhang Daoling practiced for thousands of days and became all kinds of magical spells. Soon, eight ghost commanders led hundreds of millions of ghost soldiers to harm the world, bringing all kinds of plagues and diseases to all beings. Zhang Daoling then set up an altar on Qingcheng Mountain, rang the bell and ran out, calling for rain and directing magic soldiers to fight these evil spirits. Zhang Daoling stood on the glass seat, and any sword and arrow turned into a lotus flower as soon as it approached him. The ghosts set it on fire again, and the real person pointed with his hand, and the flame burned back. In a rage, Ghost Shuai attracted thousands of troops to surround him. I didn't expect the real person to draw a picture with Dan, and all the ghost soldiers and eight GREAT GHOST scholars kowtowed for mercy. However, they refused to accept it orally. When I got back, I invited six demons to lead millions of ghost soldiers to besiege Qingcheng Mountain. Zhang Daoling was calm and unmoved. He only used Dan pen to draw lightly, and all the ghosts died, leaving only six ghosts lying on the ground and unable to get up, so he had to kowtow and beg for mercy. With another stroke of Zhang Daoling's pen, a mountain was divided into two halves, and six lich kings were trapped inside, unable to move. So the devil has to promise not to hurt the world again.

Because Zhang Daoling saved thousands of people by exorcising evil spirits, all the people followed him. At one time, tens of thousands of people worshipped him as their teacher. Zhang Daoling organized them, formulated laws and regulations, assigned responsibilities, taught them truth and advised them to do good. In this way, a Taoist group was slowly established, and Zhang Daoling himself became the founder of Taoism.

On September 9th, the first year of Yongshou in the Eastern Han Dynasty, in Quting Mountain, Chicheng, Sichuan, God sent an angel with a jade book and named Zhang Daoling a real person. Before he ascended the throne, he gave his eldest son Heng two exorcism swords, telling him that exorcism would help the country and the people, and an heir would inherit his leadership position from generation to generation. After receiving instructions, Zhang Daoling and his disciples Wang Chang and Zhao Sheng ascended to heaven, and the Taoism founded by them has been spread among the people to this day. Because he stipulated that the disciples should pay five dou meters, it was also called "five meters of beans".

Brief introduction of Zhang Daoling

Zhang Daoling was the founder of Taoism in Shi Tian in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Taoism called him the ancestor of Taoism in Shi Tian, and folks generally called him Zhang Tianshi. It is said that Zhang Tianshi's mount is a tiger, and his disciples have more than 300 people. He also established 24 missionary sites, which laid the foundation for the development of Taoism in Shi Tian.

Zhang Daoling's birth is quite mythical. It is said that his mother dreamed that Kuixing fell and felt pregnant. When Zhang Daoling was born, there was a strange smell all over the room, saying that she was a walking fairy. Zhang Tianshi has been very clever since he was a child. When he was seven years old, he could read the Tao Te Ching. He studied astronomy and geography. As a scholar in imperial academy, you can master the knowledge in the Five Classics.

He feels that no matter how absorbed he is in academic research, he will never be able to solve the problem of birth, illness and death. In the end, no matter how much he learned and mastered, he could only lie in that small box like everyone else. He gave up Confucianism and studied the way of immortality. In the first few years of eternity, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty tried many times to recruit Zhang Tianshi to work for the country, but he refused. He said that no one can change the running law of nature, so let me quietly explore what I want in the mountains.

During the Shun Di period of the Han Dynasty, it was said that the old gentleman came, and Zhang Tianshi did something in Qingcheng Mountain in the name of exorcism and protecting the people. Because of Zhang Tianshi's lofty way, monsters are afraid of him, and they surrender in succession, expressing their willingness to convert to the right path. Zhang Tianshi successfully surrendered to the devil, and there are still the remains of the altar where Shi Tian fought with the ghost.

Zhang Tianshi surrendered to the devil and established his prestige in front of the people. People are willing to listen to Zhang Tianshi's teachings, so he set up 24 harmonious missionary points to accept students to spread their own stone heaven.

Zhang Tianshi's deeds touched God, and God sent an angel to seal Zhang Tianshi, a real person. At the age of 123, Zhang Tianshi died.

How did Zhang Daoling die?

The first year of Emperor Huan's longevity 122-year-old Zhang Tianshi thought in the Taoist temple, I have lived for so long and met all kinds of people, so I think I should give up my seat. What I have done for Taoism has reached its limit, and I should hope for the next generation to see how they can make good use of it.

Knowing that his time was running out, he decided to call an important meeting of all departments and priests on the day of the next meeting. One is to see how many monks he has worked hard in his life and how many people Taoism he founded can attract. The transitional parliament also wants to hand over the whole church to the next generation.

At the beginning of the conference, Zhang Tianshi expressed his meaning to everyone present. He felt it was time to take a break and hand over power to young people. He worked hard for the church in old bones all his life, but now I can't do it anymore, so I want to announce this decision that I have been thinking about for a long time.

My disciple Zhang Heng inherited the position of Shi Tian. I brought him up. I watched him grow up and grow stronger. I believe that everyone's command ability to Zhang Heng and his own study of Taoism are the best candidates for this position. I think everyone should have no objection.

In particular, if I were not a descendant of Zhang, I would not pass on my position to him in the future. I am not denying all of you here, but I hope that under the leadership of my Zhang family, we can jointly revitalize and expand Taoism. As soon as Zhang Tianshi made this remark, he formally stipulated Shi Tian's position in the past dynasties, and only those who have relations with Zhang Guyou can inherit it.

In the second year, Zhang Daoling ascended to heaven with his disciples, and later generations carried forward Taoism.

What doesn't Zhang Daoling eat?

Zhang Daoling, whose real name is Zhang Ling, is honored as Zhang Daoling by Taoism, because the Taoism he founded at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty is honored as Zhang Tianshi. Later, it was said that Grandfather awarded Zhang Daoling the title of Zhengyi as a real person.

Noble families in Zhang Tianshi can get married and have children, which is called fasting day, but in normal times, Taoist priests can drink and eat meat, which is much better than Buddhism. It is said that there are four kinds of food that can't be touched in Zhang Tianshi aristocratic family.

These four kinds of meat refer to beef, mullet, swan goose and dog meat, and Zhang Tianshi won't touch these meats.

We say we don't eat beef because cows are kind. Cattle eat grass all their lives, but milk is squeezed out. The cow is hardworking and can't eat him. As we all know, the old gentleman on the throne rides an ox. Cattle should be of special significance to Taoism, so how can we bear to eat such kind animals as cattle and sheep?

I don't eat mullet because it has filial piety. It is said that mullet essence is the worst, even my own children eat it. However, Taoism has a different view. They think that mullet is too soft to see anything, and can only wait to starve to death or be eaten by other fish. Little mullet is the most filial, and treats his parents as food. The ancient people didn't eat mullet, but let it go as soon as they caught it. So don't eat mullet.

Don't eat the swan goose because of its chastity. Once two geese get married, even if the other one dies, they remain chaste and lonely all their lives. When the goose is soft, the male goose will be extremely fierce and desperate to protect the goose. Hongyan is too chaste to eat.

Don't eat dog meat because dogs are loyal. It is said that dogs don't think their mothers are ugly and poor. What they say is that dogs will serve their owners all their lives, will not betray their owners and will not abandon their owners. Dogs are mankind's most loyal friends and don't eat dog meat.

Zhang Daoling seven tests Zhao Sheng.

Zhang Tianshi tested his disciples seven times before deciding on a suitable candidate. Let's take a look at how the ancient Taoists chose their disciples. It is said that Zhang Daoling's magical power is inscrutable, and many people want to seek Tao from him, so they have their own selection rules.

Zhang Tianshi had many disciples, but Wang Chang was the only one who got a true biography. His disciples thought that Shi Tian was partial and reserved. On this day, a man named Zhao Sheng came to visit Zhang Tianshi. Zhang Tianshi knew this man was very knowledgeable and determined to bring him into this family, but he decided to test him. He told his disciples not to communicate with Zhao Sheng to test his determination. Zhao Sheng saw that everyone was indifferent and no one entertained him at night, so he camped out alone.

So Zhao Sheng stayed outside the door for several days. When people saw that Zhao Sheng had no intention of leaving, they hated his guts and treated him as a beggar. After a few days, Master finally spoke. He saw Zhao Sheng being tortured and agreed to accept him as an apprentice.

When Zhang Tianshi was out in Zhao Sheng, he seduced Zhao Sheng with a beautiful woman. Zhao Sheng first sleeps separately from the woman, and then takes care of her to eat and drink. When he found that there was something evil about this woman, he simply didn't even go into the hut. Zhang Tianshi knew that Zhao Sheng had passed his own test.

Zhao Sheng went up the mountain to cut firewood. Because he used too much force, the tree was cut off by the middle, and gold jumped out of it. Zhao Sheng thought he was a monk, so he buried the soil and picked up firewood to go home.

Once, Zhao Sheng was very tired when chopping wood, so he sat down to have a rest. Suddenly, the wind was blowing hard and wild animals were biting themselves, but Zhao Sheng was not afraid at all. He thinks that life and death are life, and there is nothing to be afraid of.

Zhao Sheng bought cloth to go home and was framed as a thief by the shopkeeper. Zhao Sheng gave his clothes to the shopkeeper just because the cloth was wanted by the master.

Zhang Tianshi tempted Zhao Sheng seven times, big and small, but failed to shake Zhao Sheng's determination to seek Tao wholeheartedly. Zhang Tianshi also successfully taught his secret method to Zhao Sheng.

How did Zhang Daoling create Taoism?

Many people think that Taoism was founded by Laozi, but it is not. Taoism was founded by Zhang Daoling in the Eastern Han Dynasty. The sect founded by Zhang Daoling is based on the classic theory of Laozi. Because I always said that Zhang Tianshi called the sect he founded Taoism. Also, because people who enter the church have to pay five dou meters, it is also called five dou meters teaching.

Zhang Daoling, who practiced in Shushan during the Eastern Han Dynasty, claimed that he was an old gentleman who wanted to teach him Tao and teach him proper manners. Another Zhang Daoling decided to establish a righteous alliance based on Tao. He said, "The old gentleman on the throne" made him a real person. With the title of "the old gentleman on the throne", it is more convenient for Zhang Daoling to carry out academic exchanges.

All his disciples respected him as a teacher of good deeds, and later generations gradually began to accept this title, calling him Zhang Tianshi, because people who want to join the church, regardless of their position, have to pay five buckets of rice as a fee, so Zhang Tianshi's Taoism is also called five buckets of rice.

Zhang Daoling took Laozi's Tao Te Ching as the standard for his followers to learn, Zhang Daoling personally wrote Old Xiangzi Jules to publicize his teachings, and Zhang Daoling also wrote Twenty-four Classics as the code of conduct for believers. Zhang Daoling divided his followers into twenty-four places and let them manage them separately. Everyone has only one religious leader, and he must also be a mage who presides over the sacrifice. He must have a way to fight ghosts.

On the activity day of Pentecostalism, Zhang Daoling set up a quiet room where believers could reflect and meditate, pray and bow down. When a Taoist is ill, let him write his name to show that he has repented. At the age of 65,438+022, Zhang Daoling declared that the throne was inherited by his son Zhang Heng, and stipulated that the inheritance of Taoism could only be undertaken by Zhang alone.

Descendants of Zhang Daoling

After Zhang Tianshi ascended to heaven, all his descendants inherited Taoism from Zhang Tianshi. It can be said that Zhang Tianshi was very helpful to his descendants, and the rulers also respected Zhang Tianshi's Taoism, and Zhang Tianshi's descendants retained the titles of previous dynasties.

Tang Xizong gave Santian the title of an exorcist, and both gave this title. In the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, Shi Tian was renamed as a real person, which shows that the rulers supported Taoism as much as Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.

Shi Tian's name comes from Zhuangzi. According to legend, it was the emperor who worshipped Shi Tian who won the battle. Shi Tian's name appeared at that time. Zhang Daoling called himself Shi Tian when he entered shushan monastery. Later, the representative of the Taoist school claimed to be Shi Tian.

However, the name "Shi Tian" did begin in Zhang Tianshi. Although the code name "Shi Tian" was not used in the Ming Dynasty, it was used again and has been used ever since.

As the founder of Taoism, Zhang Tianshi has profound Taoism and strong ability to exorcise evil spirits. As the ancestor of soaring, his position is very high. Coupled with the rendering of folk fairy tales, people's respect for him is becoming more and more obvious. Because it is widely circulated, the phenomenon of sacrificing him still exists.

As for the descendants of Master Tiandao, his 56th grandson, presided over by Fu, is a deputy to the National People's Congress and the executive director of the Chinese Taoist Association. Zhang Jinhua is the president of the World Yijing Feng Shui Research Institute. It can be said that all his descendants devoted themselves to the study of Taoism.

In order to inherit the excellent qualities of their ancestors, they are engaged in Taoism-related work in all walks of life.

What was the original name of Zhang Daoling?

When it comes to Taoism, we naturally think of Zhang Tianshi. It is said that Zhang Tianshi likes to use tigers as mounts. In some Taoist schools, Zhang Tianshi and the other three are also called the four heavenly teachers. What is the name of the core memorial of Zhang Tianshi's life?

Zhang Daoling was originally named Zhang Ling and later renamed Zhang Daoling. It is said that he is the eighth grandson of Sean in the Western Han Dynasty. He was born in the reign of Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty. When he was born, the room was full of strange smells, which didn't go away for more than a month. His mother was pregnant because she dreamed of Kuixing.

Zhang Daoling was very clever when he was a child. At the age of seven, he was able to read the Tao Te Ching and explore its mysteries. Some people say that reading and reciting are nothing, but understanding is a different realm. However, Zhang Daoling gave up his academic research. He abandoned his official position to learn Taoism and founded the Justice League.

During the reign of Emperor Shundi of Han Dynasty, the old gentleman in Taishang awarded the three-day Buddhism, and Zhang Daoling named himself Shi Tian, writing 24 books to publicize his own Taoism and spread his understanding of Taoism.

According to legend, Zhang Daoling, the first generation in Shi Tian, was handed down by the old gentleman. His way is profound, exorcising demons and destroying all beings. People are very grateful to this Taoist priest, and they have taken refuge in Zhang Daoling to learn Taoism. Zhang Tianshi followed, steadily spreading his own Taoism. He established 24 rulers in Bashu and other places, and each ruler was managed by a person with high moral level. They developed themselves and developed themselves.

During the Three Kingdoms period, an army established its own separatist forces in Hanzhong, and used Taoist thought to alleviate the sins of the wrongdoers. For those who have committed crimes, instead of extorting confessions by torture, they are given a chance to turn over a new leaf. This team has a fine style, loves the people and is welcomed by the people.

From this picture, we can see that Zhang Tianshi, as an adult, looks very strange. He is about nine feet long, with a broad brow, a scarlet head and green eyes. His two corners are tied with hair beside his eyes, and he looks like a fairy.

Zhang Daoling is the founder of Taoist school. He left behind many magical events. It is said that during the Eastern Han Dynasty, this old gentleman came to the place where Zhang Tianshi lived, and gave him male and female swords and some exorcism spells, so that he could wipe out the demon king and ghost soldiers who were rampant all over the world. Zhang Tianshi's way is profound, and it is natural to eliminate the little devil.

He set up an altar on Qingcheng Mountain to fight against these ghosts. I saw Zhang Tianshi sitting on the glass throne, and the sword near him turned into a lotus flower. The imp set it on fire, and was turned back by the angel with a wave of his hand, burning himself. The little devil attracted crowds of people, but Zhang Tianshi only used a pen and a painting, and all the ghosts died.

When all his men died, the devil had to surrender. Zhang Tianshi sealed the demon king, so that he could never surpass his own life and hurt the people.

During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Huang Wu the Great sent messengers to make Zhang Tianshi a real person. Zhang Tianshi passed these two swords to his eldest son before he died, and let him shoulder the mission of exorcism and benefiting the people. He also asked his children to inherit their status from generation to generation and protect the people's comfort. Then he took his disciples Wang Chang and Zhao Sheng to heaven. Today, the legend that they ascended to heaven after enlightenment is a widely circulated story.

It is said that Zhang Tianshi has more than 3,000 disciples, but only three people are really valued by him, namely Wang Chang, Zhao Sheng and Zhang Heng. Wang Chang, who spent the longest time with the master, naturally won the master biography, while Zhao Sheng was not so lucky. He went through a severe test when he became a disciple of Shi Tian. Using this method to test whether Zhao Sheng really seeks Tao, he finally became a disciple.
