What doesn't Zhang Daoling eat?

I don't eat mullet because it has filial piety. It is said that mullet essence is the worst, even my own children eat it. However, Taoism has a different view. They think that mullet is too soft to see anything, and can only wait to starve to death or be eaten by other fish. Little mullet is the most filial, and treats his parents as food. The ancient people didn't eat mullet, but let it go as soon as they caught it. So don't eat mullet.

Don't eat the swan goose because of its chastity. Once two geese get married, even if the other one dies, they remain chaste and lonely all their lives. When the goose is soft, the male goose will be extremely fierce and desperate to protect the goose. Hongyan is too chaste to eat.

Don't eat dog meat because dogs are loyal. It is said that dogs don't think their mothers are ugly and poor. What they say is that dogs will serve their owners all their lives, will not betray their owners and will not abandon their owners. Dogs are mankind's most loyal friends and don't eat dog meat.

Zhang Daoling seven tests Zhao Sheng.

So Zhao Sheng stayed outside the door for several days. When people saw that Zhao Sheng had no intention of leaving, they hated his guts and treated him as a beggar. After a few days, Master finally spoke. He saw Zhao Sheng being tortured and agreed to accept him as an apprentice.

When Zhang Tianshi was out in Zhao Sheng, he seduced Zhao Sheng with a beautiful woman. Zhao Sheng first sleeps separately from the woman, and then takes care of her to eat and drink. When he found that there was something evil about this woman, he simply didn't even go into the hut. Zhang Tianshi knew that Zhao Sheng had passed his own test.

Zhao Sheng went up the mountain to cut firewood. Because he used too much force, the tree was cut off by the middle, and gold jumped out of it. Zhao Sheng thought he was a monk, so he buried the soil and picked up firewood to go home.

Once, Zhao Sheng was very tired when chopping wood, so he sat down to have a rest. Suddenly, the wind was blowing hard and wild animals were biting themselves, but Zhao Sheng was not afraid at all. He thinks that life and death are life, and there is nothing to be afraid of.

Zhao Sheng bought cloth to go home and was framed as a thief by the shopkeeper. Zhao Sheng gave his clothes to the shopkeeper just because the cloth was wanted by the master.

Zhang Tianshi tempted Zhao Sheng seven times, big and small, but failed to shake Zhao Sheng's determination to seek Tao wholeheartedly. Zhang Tianshi also successfully taught his secret method to Zhao Sheng.

How did Zhang Daoling create Taoism?

Zhang Daoling took Laozi's Tao Te Ching as the standard for his followers to learn, Zhang Daoling personally wrote Old Xiangzi Jules to publicize his teachings, and Zhang Daoling also wrote Twenty-four Classics as the code of conduct for believers.
