Baiyun Temple in Beijing was founded in the 27th year of Tang Kaiyuan (739), with a long history of 1200 years. The existing buildings are mainly in Qing dynasty, and the Taoist temple is composed of quadrangles with progressive layers, which is grand in scale and extraordinary in momentum. On June 25th, 20001year, Baiyun Temple, as an ancient building in Qing Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Architectural composition

Baiyun Temple is divided into three roads: Middle Road, East Road, West Road and Backyard, with a large scale and compact layout.

Baiyunguan Middle Road: Starting from Zhaobi outside the mountain gate, there are Zhaobi, Pailou, Huabiao, Shanmen, Wofeng Bridge, Lingguan Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Sanguan Hall, Caishen Temple, Huangyu Hall, Jiuku Hall, Wangyao Hall, Laolv Hall, Qiuzu Hall, Sanqing Hall and Yusi Hall in turn.

The six bronze statues of four Shi Tian and two stone boys on the left and right sides of the Jade Emperor Hall were all cast in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. Eight silk paintings by Nan Dou, Bei Dou, Thirty-six Shuai and Twenty-eight Su are hung on the inner wall of the temple, all of which are fine works of Ming and Qing Dynasties.
