At the end of Ming Dynasty, Lingyuan area was also a place full of lush mountains and wild animals. Although inhabited, it is sparsely populated. Due to the construction and continuous felling of chengde mountain resort, the Nuerhu Mountain System is gradually barren, and Han and Hui people from Shandong, Shanxi and Henan have gradually settled down. Where did the place name of Lingyuan come from? The name of lingyuan city began in the third year of the Republic of China (19 14).
