Does anyone really believe in fortune telling?

On the contrary, if there is no psychological hint that "jumping with the left eye is a fortune and jumping with the right eye is a curse", at most, I will regard throwing cups and walking and wrestling as accidents and will not think about the direction of disaster.

First of all, why fortune tellers are "accurate".

So you will think that the master is really a god. Of course, fortune tellers also have unique speaking skills, which are beyond the scope of this discussion.

On the one hand, when people encounter stress events such as divorce, widowhood and bankruptcy, their emotions will fluctuate greatly, they will lose control of their lives, their sense of security will be affected, their psychological dependence will be greatly enhanced, and their suggestibility will be stronger than usual. On the other hand, "fortune tellers" tend to say that there are both good and bad things, and provide some vague information for the other party to find their own experience, so that the fuzziness of information is concrete, thus creating the illusion that "you know me well", which is a psychological phenomenon of self-verification. At the same time, psychological research reveals that it is easy for people to believe in a general and general description of personality, for example, you need to gain the respect of others, and sometimes you are entangled in difficulties. These hats fit practically anyone. Even if the "fortune teller" says something innocuous and empty, it will convince the helper that the other person has revealed his own characteristics very accurately. Why can fortune tellers be so accurate?

This problem can be discussed from two aspects:
