Later, Li Shimin spent the night in Huoyi yamen, and was awakened by two headless people in his dream many times. After careful consideration, Li Shimin thought that one of the two men was Song Like, an old general of Sui Dynasty who was beheaded in Huoyi in 6 17, and the other was like a man beheaded by Liu Wuzhou. These two headless ghosts kept harassing Li Shimin, making him fidgety. Li Shimin called Xu Maogong to discuss, and Xu Maogong said, "Your master wants to surrender General Dede, so he broke Liu Wuzhou. Adults can send General Dede to guard the yamen at night, and there may be peace. " According to the words, Weichi Gong guarded the gate, and sure enough, ghosts such as Liu Wuzhou stopped bothering him, but ghosts such as old students still came. Li Shimin turned to Xu Maogong for advice again. Xu Maogong said, "I heard that Song Laosheng was a general of the Sui Dynasty, but his loyalty and courage are commendable. I heard that Song Laosheng appreciated Qin's character and wanted to send Qin to guard the yamen at night. Maybe it is safe. " In the evening, Li Shimin sent Qin Qiong to guard the yamen. Sure enough, the ghost of Song Laosheng didn't come.

After the incident, it spread to the people, and people put the portraits of Jingdezhen and Qin Qiong on the doors, afraid to do it in order to sneak around. From then on, the two became door gods and learned from each other. In the Song Dynasty, the door god painting developed into a series of New Year pictures with rich contents and various forms.
