The history of Madden Town

The government of the Tang Dynasty set up a post station in the ancient town, which was an important post station from Xianyang and Chang 'an to Nanyang in ancient times, and was later used by successive dynasties.

Six years after the Southern Song Dynasty (1233), Meng Gong, a famous soldier in the Southern Song Dynasty, defeated Wu Xian, the general of the Jin Dynasty, and captured more than 70,000 people of the Jin Army, thus cutting off the hope that the Jin Army would enter Shu from Xiangyang and occupy Sichuan in the Southern Song Dynasty, destroying the last effective force of the State of Jin, and the State of Jin soon perished.

In the sixth year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty, Xichuan County was separated from neixiang county, and its administrative office was in Madeng Ancient Town. The following year, when the new town was completed, the county administrative office moved to the right bank of Danjiang River, about 10 km west of Madeng City.

Before 1960s, this town was one of the five ancient towns in Xichuan, and it was an important flood and drought wharf leading to Neixiang and Zhenping in Xichuan. There are six Zhaimen in the ancient town, with a cross-shaped layout, more than 2,000 houses and more than 2,000 residents.

Huang Zhuang Commune was founded in 1969.

1983, changed to Huang Zhuang Township.

In July of 200 1 year, Huang Zhuang Township was evacuated to Maden Town.
