There are several towns in Taiqian County.

Taiqian County has seven townships and two towns, including Malou Township, Qingshuihe Township, Houfang Township, Sunkou Township, Yuchen Township, Jiahe Township and Hu Ba Township. Two towns: Houmiao Town and Chengguan Town;

Taiqian County belongs to Puyang City, Henan Province, located in the northeast of Henan Province, at the junction of Henan and Shandong provinces, with a total area of 454 square kilometers, 372 administrative villages, 376,400 people and 270,000 mu of cultivated land. Taiqian County is an old revolutionary base area and a national key poverty alleviation and development county. It is an important part of Pufantai Comprehensive Experimental Zone for Poverty Alleviation and Development in Central Plains Economic Zone, and was named "Feather Town of China" in 20 12.

Taiqian County has a special geographical position, bordering six counties in Shandong Province on three sides or across the river, with a length of 40.4 kilometers from east to west and an average width of 15.5 kilometers from north to south. It is the northeast gateway of Henan Province, bordering the Central Plains Economic Zone in the west and the Bohai Economic Circle in the east. It is the nearest county in Henan Province to Tianjin Port, Qingdao Port, Lianyungang Port and Rizhao Port.
