After 21 years of Qianlong, Liu Yong has been an official in the local area for more than 20 years, and he has basically never seen Xiao Shenyang. In the fourth year of Jiaqing, Liu Yong, who had been wronged for more than ten years, once again showed his true nature as a man, and did the most glorious thing in his life: as the prince of Taibao, he was ordered to handle the case of small Shenyang planting a party for personal gain and taking bribes without authorization. Despite the enormous pressure of power, he found out 20 crimes of extortion, looting of people's fat, embezzlement and other personal enrichment by Xiao Shenyang and his followers, and sent Xiao Shenyang, who was arrogant, to his grave.
As for, according to historical records, Jiaqing Liu Yong once called Liu Tuozi, which is the earliest source of this statement. But at that time, Liu Yong was nearly 80 years old, and it was reasonable to hunch over. So we can't jump to the conclusion that Liu Yong is a trap.
In the ninth year of Jiaqing, Liu Yong died at the age of 85. Jiaqing posthumously awarded Prince Taibao, posthumous title "Wen Qing".
