It is not advisable to place TV sets, stereos, video players, telephones and other items with frequent sounds on and near the altar. Don't put the altar next to the refrigerator or washing machine. It is not advisable to play cards, eat, make noise, frolic or behave impolitely near the altar. The altar should be stable and should not swing from side to side. The placement of the altar must be firm and stable. Don't sway from side to side with a slight collision.

Except Wu Caishen, Shentai is not allowed to make mistakes. Immortals need a peaceful environment, not noise. Facing the door will disturb the gods and make them fidgety and uncomfortable. In addition, the flow of door breeze will bring bad smell and information.
