Liu Bowen zhixiu Beijing city

Some people may ask: As the capital of China, why should Beijing be built here? Speaking of it, this is the story of the prince sweeping the north.

When Judy, the prince of Yan, lived in Nanjing, she planned to rebuild the capital in the north, so she called Liu Bowen, the minister, and asked about the location of the capital. Liu Bowen said, "Let General Xu Da do this." The prince sent for Xu Da. Liu Bowen said to Xu Da, "Shoot an arrow to the north with your divine power and build a capital where the arrow falls." Xu Da agreed, went outside the temple, drew an arrow with a bow, and shot toward the north. Liu Bowen hurriedly took people aboard and chased them along the Grand Canal in journey to the south.

This arrow is really not close, and it has been flying to Nanyuan, which is now more than 20 miles south of Beijing. In the Southern Tang Dynasty, there lived eight small rich men in Nanyuan. They panicked when they saw the arrow fall. They thought: if you build a city here, won't your property and land be occupied? After thinking for a long time, I had an idea: let's shoot the arrow away again! "So the arrow went north again, and now it falls on the back door bridge.

It is said that there is a stone tablet under the Houmen Bridge, which is engraved with the words "Beijing City". Under the stone tablet is the place to put arrows. Liu Bowen chased Nanyuan and counted it with his fingers, knowing that the arrow should fall here. He found eight small rich men and forced them to ask for arrows. The rich can't hide, so they have to ask for help: "As long as you don't build a city here, whatever conditions you want will do." Liu Bowen thought for a moment: "OK, but it's up to you to decide the capital." The rich thought that we had plenty of money and there was nothing wrong with building a capital, so they agreed.

Xizhimen Tower was built first. I didn't expect the rich to be destroyed before the tower was built. What should we do?

Liu Bowen pinched his fingers again and ordered his men to find a man named Shen Wanshan. A few days later, he really found a Shen Wanshan and took him to Shichahai to meet Liu Bowen. What does this Shen Wanshan do? It turned out that he was a beggar, dirty and torn all over, with a broken crock under his arm. When Liu Bowen said he wanted money to find himself, he was frightened and said in a trembling voice, "I am a poor beggar, where can I have money!" Liu Bowen eyes a stare: "no money. Somebody, call me! " The men immediately picked up sticks and hit Shen Wanshan hard. At first, Shen Wanshan pleaded again and again. Later, when he was in a hurry, he stamped his foot and said, "There is money underground. Dig. "

Liu Bowen exultation, sent someone to dig, underground really have a big bucket of glistening silver. Building the city continued, but it was not long before the money ran out, so he took advantage of this opportunity to defeat Shen Wanshan. Shen Wanshan was badly beaten and pointed to the ground and said, "There is money here." As soon as everyone digs, they have money again.

In this way, time and time again, Beijing finally found it. Those big pits dug with silver and put into the water became today's Shichahai, Beihai and Zhongnanhai.

The Iron Lion in Zaojun Temple

There is a two-part allegorical saying in Beijing: "The lion in the Kitchen God Temple is an iron pair." It means that an enemy can never solve a hateful enemy; There are two aspects to this argument, that is, a dead match that can never be separated. There are quite a few iron lions in Beijing, and there are several pairs of famous iron lions. Why did you just say that the iron lion in Zaojun Temple is a deadly enemy? There is a folklore in it. Let's listen to it and see if it's superstitious.

There is a stove temple in Huashi Street, Chongwen District, Beijing, and there are two iron lions outside the temple gate. This is where the story begins. Huashi Street used to be a poor place. Most residents make a living by making paper flowers and handicrafts. However, the chef jun took a fancy to this place. He told the Jade Emperor that he had built a kitchen temple here. Some people say that the temple was not built by the chef himself, but by rich people who believed in the chef and paid for it. Chef Jun is a clay sculpture and has no money. How can he build a temple by himself? Anyway, the temple was built. When the Kitchen God Temple was built, people said that the Kitchen God could "bless one side". Later, the residents here were still so poor, and the richer the people, the richer they became, and everyone became suspicious. There is also that careful person who goes to the temple outside to look carefully every day. There is nothing suspicious, and everyone always feels uneasy.

On this day, an old man with a white beard, carrying a burden, went to the street to fill the leaking pot, walked to the door of the Kitchen God Temple and put down his burden. He looked left and right and went to the temple again. His strange behavior attracted many people looking around. Someone who likes to talk asks, "Old DY, what are you looking at?" "I didn't see anything. I thought: it is better to add two iron lions in front of the temple. " Everyone laughed and said, "Who has money? Since the temple was built, we have to pay for incense and incense and distribute sesame oil every month, which makes us poorer. How can we throw lions for it? " The old man with white beard smiled and left without saying a word. The next day, in front of the Kitchen God Temple, there were a pair of iron lions. On the third day, the master's horse disappeared, but there was a pile of horse bones in front of the temple. At night, people hear lions roar. On the fourth and fifth days, the temple gate was closed. Since then, people who do small crafts have lived in the temple. People no longer buy incense, gifts or sesame oil for Master Zao Jun, and everyone is short of money. People say: these pairs of iron lions must have been cast by Lord Lu Ban; The old man with white beard is Lu Ban; The iron lion ate his master's horse; Scared the chef away; The iron lion is the sworn enemy and best friend of the chef. ..

The legend of Bicai Hutong

(A) Qin Liu Island consolidation

According to the old man, there is a Dahongmen in the north of the west exit of Bicai Hutong and a middle school in the east. In the past, when the Kuomintang ruled, there was a big official living there.

It is said that the house at this gate is very rich. There are three floors in it, all of which are empty. No one dares to live in it. There is a wonton seller across the hall named Zhang Er. He manages the yard and sells wonton. At this moment, a beggar named Li Er was squatting at the door with his wife and children. Zhang Er asked him, "What are you doing here?" Li Er said, "I want to find a night." Zhang Er said, "This yard is quite wide, but no one dares to live in it. If you want to live there, I have the key. " Li Er said, "I am a beggar and I am not afraid of anything." In this way, Li Er lived in the south room that took the door.

In the evening, Li Er got up to see what was going on. He came to the ground floor yard, pushed open the moon door and saw nothing. He went to the yard on the second floor and heard nothing. He walked into the yard on the third floor and saw a guard at the door. The main house of the North House is brightly lit. He went in and the guards stood at attention for him. He continued to walk in, and an old man with a white beard sat on the throne. Seeing him come in, he said, "The master is here! Connect the host. " The old man came to the yard, waved his hand, and all the lights came on, and the whole yard was brightly lit. The old man gave his seat to Li and said, "son, you can come!" We have shown you these assets for 28 years! I just can't find you. " Li Er said, "I beg outside all day. Where can you find me? " The old man said, "You have a friend named Zhang Da. It turns out that your father and his father were officials of the same dynasty. Do you know where he is? " Your father was killed by a traitor, and they left us these properties for safekeeping. "Li Er said," I heard that Zhang Da is at the fish market outside Chaoyangmen. After losing his family, his daughter-in-law hanged herself and left him alone. He has a craft, setting up a nail shoe stall. "The old man said," You should use money to call a capital note, and give it as much as you write. " After listening, I thought, Li is a ghost!

The next morning, Li Er stopped begging and went straight to Chaoyangmen. When he inquired at the fish market, he really had a Zhang Da with shoes nailed. Zhang Da asked, "What's the matter?" Li Erdao: "Don't talk in the street." When they came to Zhang Da's home, Li Er said, "The yard where I live is quite wide. They called me master, put me on the throne, and said that the gold and silver were ours. They have shown it to us for 28 years! You want money, you write a note, how much you write, how much they give! " Zhang Da said: "This can't be done. I can make a living by repairing shoes! " "Li Er repeatedly appealed to, opened the door and tore a piece of broken can write two hundred and twenty pieces of silver. Li Er carefully collected it. In the evening, Li Er went again. As soon as I entered the Moon Gate, I was immediately greeted by lanterns, decorated and put on my seat. He took out the big bill and got two hundred and twenty pieces of silver at once. When I got up the next morning, I went to the fish market outside Chaoyangmen and sent the money to the Zhang family. Both families have money to spend! Zhang Da wrote another note, 520. He took another five hundred and twenty, and they shared the flowers. A few days later, I wrote 1200 yuan, a 500 yuan, and the life of these two families will be better. One day, the old man said to Li Er, "Please invite Zhang Da, and we will settle accounts for you." One night, Li Er and Zhang Da came together. As soon as they entered the Moon Gate, the people inside decorated themselves with lanterns and knelt down to meet them. The old man confessed his property one by one. How many East Houses, how many Westinghouse Houses, which cylinders moved and which cylinders did not move, a * * * 24 cylinders of silver. The old man said, "when your father died, let us give you these things when you grow up." "Later, Li Er and Zhang Da divided the property. From then on, this hutong was named Bicai Hutong.

(2) Bai Yihua finishing

At present, there is an east-west alley called Bicai Hutong in the south of the auditorium of China People's Political Consultative Conference. Why is it called Bicai Hutong?

Legend has it that there used to be a small temple at the west entrance of this hutong. This small temple faces south. Next to the east of the small temple lived a family named Huo, who had been rich for many years. Many of the neighbors near Huo's home are poor people who eat three meals a day. After a few years, the Huo family gradually became poor for some reasons, and some large families even went begging. The Huo family is also very puzzled.

One day, an old man who collects junk came to Huo's house and asked, "Why do you also sell junk?" Is it really this poor? "The Huo family said to the old man who collected rags," We are also very strange. There used to be so much money. Where did all this money go? "The old man smiled and said," I know this. Why are you so rich? "? It is because there is a firewood chopping factory opposite your house that the Huo family has good feng shui. People buy firewood to make a fire, and the fire is getting stronger and stronger, and your family is getting richer and richer. Why did you become poor later? Because the neighbor dug two wells opposite your house, next to the timber factory. Now, your feng shui is broken. You think, the water in the well will definitely put out the fire in your house. What's more, these two wells are bitter wells, and the' fire' is watered with bitter water. If it can't burn, how can your home prosper? Why don't the days stay' bitter'? Hearing this, the Huo family suddenly realized that it was these poor neighbors who dug wells and harmed our family. We had to find a way to deal with them.

Late one night, five members of the Huo family, old and young, with shovels and pickaxes in their hands, poured water into two wells unprepared. Just as they secretly poured water into the well, suddenly a gust of wind blew all five people into the well and drowned.

Since then, the business of this firewood chopping factory has grown bigger and bigger, hence the name "firewood chopping alley".

The legend of the Forbidden City turret

There is a corner building with nine beams, eighteen columns and seventy-two ridges in each corner of the Forbidden City, which is beautifully built. How are these four corners covered? There is such a legend in Beijing-

After the Ming Dynasty Prince Zhu Li became Emperor Yongle in Nanjing, he wanted to move to Beijing because Beijing was his old place when he was a monarch, so he sent a trusted minister to Beijing to build an official. Zhu Li told the minister that four particularly beautiful watchtowers should be built on the four corners of the Forbidden City, that is, on the outer wall of the palace. Each watchtower should have nine beams, eighteen columns and seventy-two backbones. And said, "You should be the minister of water heating. If the lid can't be repaired, behead it! " "After receiving the imperial edict from the emperor, the plumbing minister was very worried and didn't know how to build this watchtower with nine beams, eighteen columns and seventy-two ridges.

When the Minister of Industry arrived in Beijing, he called 8 1 big contractors, foremen and carpenters, told them the emperor's will, and told them that these four grotesque turrets must be built on schedule, and said, "If they can't do it, the emperor will naturally kill my head, but before I kill my head, I will cut off your heads and be careful with your heads." The foreman and carpenter are not sure about such a project, so they have to find a way together.

The period of three months is very short, and it will be one month in the blink of an eye. The foreman and carpenter haven't come up with a clue or method yet. They made many models, none of which were suitable. This is just in time for the dog days in June and July. It was stifling hot, and they were bored. It is really inappropriate for foremen and carpenters to sit or lie down. There was such a carpenter, and I couldn't stay any longer, so I went for a walk in the street.

Walking, I heard a sound of fruit from a distance, and then I heard a cry: "Buy fruit, listen, can't sleep, go and relieve boredom!" " Looking closer, I saw an old man carrying a lot of stalks, big and small, peddling along the street. One of them is a cage with a straw stick, which is as exquisite as a pavilion in the painting. There are some crickets in it. The carpenter thought: Anyway, I was bored to death. Shit, I couldn't live any longer, so I bought a beautiful cage. It looked interesting and I bought it.

The carpenter returned to the construction site with the cage. Everyone quarreled as soon as they saw it: "People are very upset. How can you buy a cage for a tramp? What's the point of noisy? " The carpenter smiled and said, "Everyone can't sleep. Look ... "He wants to say how beautiful this cage is! But before he spoke, he thought the cage was a little special. He quickly waved his hand and said, "Stop arguing and I'll count." He carefully counted the beams, columns and ridges of the Guo cage over and over again. Everyone was attracted by this number and looked at it quietly and straight, but there was no sound.

After counting the cages, the carpenter jumped up and patted his thigh and said, "Isn't this the seventy-two ridges of nine beams, eighteen columns?" Everyone was very happy to hear that. One was holding a cage, and the other said, "It's really a castle with nine beams, eighteen columns and seventy-two ridges."

Inspired by this cage, everyone came up with the appearance of the turret of the Forbidden City, scalded paper pulp to make patterns, and finally repaired it into a corner hug that still exists today.

Stone lions in Tiananmen Square

Tiananmen Square in Beijing is a great building that everyone knows! The history of Tiananmen Square and the architecture of Tiananmen Square are not mentioned by storytellers. Let's say two stone lions in front of Tiananmen Square and south of Jinshui Bridge. Why is there a deep hole in the lion's stomach? This brings us to the story of Li Zicheng, the king of breakthrough, who went to Beijing.

The peasant uprising army in Li Chuangwang, starting from Yan 'an, Shaanxi Province, destroyed the gates and cities of the Ming Dynasty like a bamboo, and arrived in Beijing on April 25th, 1644 (the 19th day of the third lunar month). At this time, an "emperor" in the late Ming Dynasty hanged himself on a locust tree in Jingshan the night before. The officials guarding the city are all "eunuchs". What can I do? Li Chuangwang soldiers stormed the gate, and the eunuch guarding Guang 'anmen immediately opened the gate to meet Li Chuangwang. Li Chuangwang entered Guang 'anmen. Soon, he came to the front door (Zhengyangmen). The general guarding the front door is said to be Li Guozhen, who fought against Chessboard Street. Li Guozhen refused to open the city, and the two sides launched a battle to attack and defend the city. Li Guozhen knew very well that he could not resist the soldiers who attacked the king, so he ran away alone. Where is the Ming army guarding the city? Nature is to open the city gate to meet the king.

Li Chuangwang took the lead, led the troops into the front door, crossed the chessboard street, and entered the "Daming Gate" (Daming Gate was renamed Daqing Gate in the Qing Dynasty, and Zhonghua Gate after the Republic of China, and we still call it Zhonghua Gate. To the north of Zhonghua Gate is the Monument to the People's Heroes. )。 I saw a tall, five-story arch in the distance. Niu Jinxing, the prime minister, said to Zhuang Wang, "Look, your majesty, that is the' Chengtianmen' in the Ming Dynasty (1651). Chengtianmen was renamed Tiananmen Square, and the archway was abolished and the present Tiananmen Square was built. ), the' imperial edict' of the Ming emperor's suffering people was issued from this door! " Li Chuangwang, who hated the Ming emperor, was even more angry at the words of the Prime Minister. With a snort from his nose, he immediately took off his bronze tire and iron-backed hard bow and pulled out an arrow to carve a feather.

The horse goes forward, not too far from Chengtianmen, and the word "Chengtianmen" can already be seen on the archway. King Chuang raised his bow, recognized the buckle, pulled the string, and the arrow went out with a bang. King Chuang shouted, "I told you to go back to heaven!" " "It all happened at the same time: the bowstring rang, the king shouted, and Li Chuangwang's words didn't stop. The arrow has shot into the sky above Tianmen, and not only the soldiers of the rebel army shouted long live, but also the officers and men who surrendered in the Ming Dynasty were shocked.

King Chuang put a hard bow on his back, took off his forged iron and steel gun, urged his horse with his gun and approached Chengtianmen. Look, there are two Chinese watches and two white lions in the south of Chengtianmen Gate, and two white lions in the north of Chengtianmen Gate. Don't say that fancy watch, just say that these four white marble lions are beautifully carved. Two stone lions in the east, with their right paws on a hydrangea, tilted their heads slightly to the east, but their eyes looked at the west; Two stone lions in the west, with their left paws on a little lion, tilted their heads slightly to the west, but their eyes looked east, as if staring at the middle road. Chu Zhuangwang is visiting these stone carvings with the prime minister and generals. Suddenly a soldier shouted, "Your Majesty, be careful, the lion is moving!" " "Wang Chuang shouted," nonsense! Can a stone lion move? "It turns out that the king has long seen that there is a problem behind the lion. As he spoke, he urged the horse with a gun and rushed to the Shishi in the east. Bang, there was a bullet hole in the belly of Shishi, and Mars exploded. I saw a figure coming straight to the Shishi in the west. The soldiers shouted, "Your Majesty, be careful, there are enemies! ""King Chuang has beaten the lion's paw and saw a general of the Ming Dynasty hiding in the northwest of the lion. He pretended not to know and waved to the generals. The generals understood the meaning of King Chuang, and he stuck his gun in the stone lion in the west. At the same time, the generals surrounded the Shishi in the west and arrested Li Guozhen, the general of the Ming Dynasty. From here on, both stone lions have a loophole.

The king entered the Tianmen Gate, and the Ming Dynasty died. The story is over.

Legend of gongzhufen

In the Qing dynasty, there was a big tomb not far from the west of Yuyuantan, which people called the princess's tomb. Which princess's grave is it?

According to legend, Qianlong sent people to tear down the Ming Tombs to repair their tombs, and Liu Yong played the script. The emperor was guilty of digging graves. Gan Long couldn't deny it, so he had to play it, so he decided to send it to Jiangnan himself. It is said that it is a gift. In fact, one does not wear a sin suit, and the other does not wear torture shackles. It's just a small hat to walk with. Liu Yong and Kun followed all the way.

This is the first time for Gan Long to go to the folk, and he feels fresh about everything. Pointing and paddling, asking and asking all the way, the sun went down unconsciously, and Gan Long felt tired and hungry. They walked into a small village and came to a door. Kun went to lock the door. The door was opened by an old man. Seeing that they didn't look like villains, the old man let them in and asked his daughter to prepare meals for three guests. The old man's daughter is only fourteen or fifteen years old. Although it is worn out, it is clean and lovely. After a while, the girl served several bowls of steaming noodles and a big bowl of sweet potatoes. Three people are hungry, and the food is really delicious.

The next day, as soon as they went out, they saw that the little girl was more handsome than last night. Gan Long liked the little girl very much and said to the old man, "Old man, if you like, let your daughter be my goddaughter!" " "The old man was very happy and asked his daughter to visit Lao Tzu. Gan Long took out a silver ingot and said to the old man, "Take it to make some clothes for the children. "He took a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to the girl." If the child is in urgent need, you can take it to Beijing to find me, just ask the emperor ... "At this time, Liu Yong snorted and then said," Ask about the royal courtyard! " Gan Long quickly changed his tune: "Yes! Yes! Royal courtyard. "

A few years later, it caught up with years of famine. The father and the daughter really couldn't go on, so they had to come to Beijing to find the girl's dry father. The father and daughter went to Beijing with great difficulty, searched the Huang family courtyard in Beijing, and couldn't find Lao Tzu's home. Father and daughter complained that they were too careless at first and didn't ask who I was and which street I lived in. Father and daughter have no relatives in Beijing, no money, no food and no place to live. There is no choice but to beg along the street during the day and spend the night at the foot of the wall or in a broken temple at night. The old man is too old to endure this hard life, and he is very ill. The girl was worried. She just cried. There was nothing she could do.

Early this morning, the girl was really helpless and went to the moat to commit suicide. Dad, who got up seriously ill, hesitated. He can't live, he can't die, he can't die, so he has to cry alone by the river. As luck would have it, Liu Yong was out for a walk at this time. Hearing this sad cry, he came to look for a sound. The girl stopped crying when she saw someone coming. Looking up, I froze: Isn't this the gentleman who came to my house with michel platini? This can be saved. Hurry up and kneel down. This kneeling confused Liu Yong. He looked at it carefully and recognized it. Oh, the goddaughter of the emperor! So he asked the reason and took the old man and the girl to the house. When I arrived at the palace, my father didn't know that Laozi was Emperor Qianlong, and the gentleman who met them was Prime Minister Liu Yong. "Imperial court" refers to imperial officials. The father and the daughter were shocked at first, and then they were shocked, thinking, how dare ordinary people join the emperor?

Early the next morning, Liu Yong took his father and daughter into the palace to see Qianlong. Besides, after Gan Long returned to the palace, he had long forgotten about his daughter, but now he remembered it, but he was afraid that others would know about it, laughing at the emperor's affinity with the hillbilly and wanting to blame him. But father and daughter have their own Huang Shoupa, and Liu Yong testified. How can they rely on it? Helpless, we had to announce them to the palace and find a place to live by ourselves. I didn't expect that there were so many complicated things in the palace, although I didn't worry about food and clothing. The royalty, officials, and eunuchs waiting to be born are snobs, and the old people can't stand it. I was sick, surprised and scared, and died in a few days. Before she died, she told her daughter to bury his bones in her hometown.

After playing here, the girl was left alone in the palace, thinking about her father and the old man's dying orders every day, and often burst into tears. Girls have nothing to say, not only endure tears, but also live in fear all day. The imperial concubine and the princess are jealous when they see her beautiful, and often criticize her sarcastically. Princes, princes and grandchildren saw that she was very beautiful, unlike Miss Fujin. They are all hostile to her and always want to bully her. Eunuchs and maids also looked down on her, because she was born in poverty and could not afford a reward. They still scold her from time to time. As the saying goes, it is better to eat a frowning meal than to drink comfortable porridge. The girl has been in Lacrimosa all day. For a long time, she is ill. A few days later, the girl was very ill. For a few days, Shuimi didn't touch her teeth and felt groggy. Gong E was frightened and reported back to the Emperor. Gan Long had no choice but to visit her, but the girl was ill. The next day, the girl died. The maid-in-waiting reported to Qianlong that the girl asked the emperor to bury her and her father's bones in her hometown before she died. Gan Long said, "Bury it!"

At that time, it happened that Liu Yong entered the palace. When he heard this, he was very unhappy. He stepped forward and handed it in: "Long live your report, I don't know anything." Hearing this, Qianlong felt like a blow on the head. He was afraid to hear what Liu Yong said. He said, "One thing is unknown", and how many ministerial meetings he has attended. I don't know who is unlucky this time. Gan Long quickly shook his head and waved to Liu Yong, meaning: Let's talk later. Liu Yong pretended not to see it, and then said, "Although this princess is not her own, she is your own adopted daughter! I left another token, so I buried it hastily. Long live my face! " Gan Long thought, "The more I am afraid of you, the more you will come. What bad luck! " With Liu Yong here watching, Qianlong had to order that the girl be buried in Cuiwei Road according to the princess's funeral.

People call this tomb the princess's tomb. As I get older, weeds grow around me. Until liberation, this solitary grave stood there alone, just like a girl who was in the palace before her death.

Why are there 999 and a half palaces in the Forbidden City?

Legend has it that when Liu Bowen built the palace in Beijing, the emperor and his son Yan Wang (Zhu Li) planned to build the palace in a larger space. They always think that the place where the emperor lives should be particularly luxurious, otherwise it will not reflect the dignity of the son of heaven. On this day, the emperor was about to announce Liu Bowen. At this juncture, Liu Bowen came.

As soon as Liu Bowen saw the emperor, he said, "Long live the opening ceremony. I had a dream last night. I dreamed that the Jade Emperor called my minister to the Lingxiao Hall and said to him, "You want to build a palace for the emperor." . Tell him! There are 1000 halls in the Heavenly Palace, and mortal palaces are not allowed to exceed the Heavenly Palace. You have to tell him that only by inviting thirty-six King Kong and seventy-two demons to guard the earthly imperial capital can the weather be good and the country and the people be safe. You must remember that. When the Jade Emperor said these words, he came at me with a white fragrant mist, which suddenly woke up the minister! "

Hearing this, the emperor felt very strange. He wanted to think, and ordered Liu Bowen to supervise the construction of less than 1,000 palaces, but he still wanted to measure them like the Heavenly Palace, and asked King Kong and the dungeon to protect court officials. Liu Bowen got the order, and the story got around in Beijing. People are waiting to see how Liu Bowen built the palace and invited 36 King Kong and 72 dungeon immortals to protect the palace.

A few days later, Liu Bowen took care of everything. When the emperor saw how luxurious the palace was built, the number of rooms was really less than 1000, and then he saw the magnificent palace, as if it were guarded by a fairy. The more the emperor looked, the happier he became. At that time, he issued a decree to give Liu a knighthood and many jewels. Foreigners heard that Liu Bowen invited the God 36 King Kong 72 Underground Palace to protect the Imperial City, and they did not dare to make an accident in dispatch troops.

Later, people learned that there were 999 semi-palaces in the Forbidden City. Thirty-six King Kong, the god of heaven, is a thirty-six-mouth golden urn placed at the palace gate. The seventy-two underground palace is the seventy-two trench of the Forbidden City.

Moving clock

Anyone who has been to Beijing knows that there is a "Zhong Wang" in Beijing, that is, the Dazhong Temple clock which is only four or five miles away from Xizhimen. There are not only big clocks here, but also the township name "Dazhongsi Township, Haidian District, Beijing", which is a close neighbor of the eighth largest capital.

The name of Dazhong Temple is Juesheng Temple. Juesheng Temple has a bell tower and a spiral staircase, which is as high as a bell nose upstairs. What a big bell tower and clock. Dazhong Temple, the clock is not big enough to be called Zhong Wang? How much does this clock weigh? No more, no less, 43 metric tons and a half-87 thousand Jin, not less! Juesheng Temple has been forgotten because of this big clock, and even some old Beijingers can't speak these three words, so it is called Dazhong Temple. Is the big clock of Dazhong Temple cast here? That's not true. It was moved from other places. There is a story about moving such a heavy clock:

This happened again when Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty was emperor. When Judy became emperor, he was always afraid that someone would overthrow his "throne". In order to "destroy" the people's resistance, he sent his strategist Yao to collect the people's swords and weapons, and cast a big clock weighing 87 thousand Jin and engraved with all the Huayan Sutra, saying that the people would not resist him after hearing the bell.

I don't know why, this big clock will sink to the bottom of the long river in front of Manjuji outside Xizhimen (this place is more than a mile west of Beijing Xijiao Zoo, and the long river is the river behind the zoo and Beijing Exhibition Hall).

After the Ming dynasty and before the Qing dynasty, no one thought of fishing for it for more than 100 years, and no one even knew that there was such a big clock. On this day, no one can tell which day it is. Suddenly, an old fisherman found such a big clock buried at the bottom of the river. At this time, the legend was opened. Of course, in a short time, it will spread to the ears of the Qing emperor and become a strange thing.

When the emperor of the Qing Dynasty knew about this, he immediately issued an imperial edict to the officials of the Ministry of Industry who were in charge of the project at that time, telling them to take the clock out of the river, move it to Juesheng Temple and build a big bell tower to hang it. According to the emperor's orders, officials of the Ministry of Industry sent a supervisor and several foremen to take craftsmen to salvage, move and hang clocks. The clock has been fished out from the bottom of the river, so it is not too difficult to hang it. I can't think of a good way to move to Juesheng Temple five or six miles away.

The clock fished out in summer is almost an autumn, and I still can't think of the idea of moving it. Ministry officials urged supervisors, supervisors urged workers, supervisors urged foremen, foremen and craftsmen to discuss left and right, but they couldn't come up with a good solution. It's really annoying It's September, and it's raining outside. Foremen and craftsmen are even more worried. Everyone chipped in and drank in the shack (work shed). There is only one blue stone in the shack, which is used as a table. At one end of the stone sat a foreman, and craftsmen sat around the stone table, leaking water from the roof. It's too big to move the clock, and no one cares if it leaks.

The foreman sitting at the end of the stone table picked up a small glass of wine and let everyone drink it for a long time. The foreman became more and more annoyed and said to a craftsman at the other end of the stone table, "Lao Li, make me a small glass." Just when I picked up a small small wine cup, I slipped because my hands were stained with water. Everyone said, "What a pity! Drank a glass of wine. " Next to a craftsman who usually doesn't like to talk, everyone called him "dumb" and said, "The cup is too slippery, just push it over." Everyone ignored the "dumb" and still drank wine. Just then, suddenly a craftsman jumped up, clapped his hands and said, "Yes! I do. The word' dumb' makes sense! " When people asked him what he was shouting, the craftsman said, "isn't the cup a clock?" Isn't it slippery? " If we beat Manjuji to Juesheng Temple, open a shallow river, put a foot or two of his water in it, freeze it and push the clock over the ice! "Everyone said that makes sense, and everyone checked for half a day. The next day, they reported it to the foreman. The foreman reported to the Ministry of Industry officials layer by layer, and the Ministry of Industry officials told them to level the land, dig ditches, drain, freeze and slide the clock quickly. The clock, weighing 87,000 Jin, just hit the ice and slipped to Juesheng Temple. Now the clock is still hanging in the bell tower.

Later, someone remembered the story of moving the clock and said, "Maybe the person who came up with the idea of moving the clock was Master Lu."

Aren't there many bitter wells for the elderly in Beijing? Just because there are many bitter wells doesn't mean there are no sweet wells! But there are only a few sweet wells. In this way, everyone has a good impression on this sweet water that is not easy to drink. The story of "centipede well" is the legend played here.
