Introduction to Yin Ye

Yin Ye joined Beijing Ji Hua Abby Biotechnology Co., Ltd. under BGI in 2002, and has been engaged in research and development of in vitro diagnostic reagents, product registration, production management, quality management and marketing. She has rich experience in research and development of biological products, production, quality control, application for registration, clinical application and promotion of biotechnology, presided over the application of many patents and dozens of in vitro diagnostic reagents, and has profound knowledge of GMP/IVD/ISO series quality management system. In the spring of 2003, Yin Ye, as one of the main participants in the scientific research on early diagnosis of SARS, successfully sequenced the SARS virus in Huada and obtained the diagnostic protein, and led the team to complete all the research and development of the SARS diagnostic kit and the preparation of the application materials within 24 hours, and successfully obtained the approval of the State Administration of Medicine. Subsequently, Huada promptly sent 300,000 copies of the "immunoassay kit" to the front line of SARS prevention and control for free.

In 2009, due to his outstanding comprehensive performance, Yin Ye was transferred to the headquarters of Huada Gene, responsible for the global industrial promotion of genomics and bioinformatics, and successively served as the president of Huada Gene Science and Technology Cooperation Division, the head of global production platform, the assistant to the president of Huada Gene Research Institute, the chief operating officer of Huada Group, and the executive director of Huada Pharmaceutical. Responsible for setting up the global marketing team of BGI, building the global scientific research and industrial platform of BGI, and completing the global layout of BGI. During this period, Yin Ye successively served as the global commander of "Thousand Species of Animal and Plant Genome Project", the first person in charge of "Millions of People Re-sequencing Project", the general person in charge of "Mongolia Plateau Characteristic Species Genome Project" and the project host of "Mongolia Genome Project". He has presided over or participated in hundreds of international genome cooperation projects, published many papers in top international academic journals such as Nature, and promoted the establishment of good cooperative relations between Huada and global biological research institutions. It has made important contributions to promoting the development of scientific research in the fields of genomics research, molecular breeding, medical health, environment and energy, and providing frontier biotechnology application services in the fields of medical care, agriculture, environment and energy for the general public. During his tenure as CEO of Huada Medical College, he fully implemented the concept of individualization, prediction, intervention and participation of "4P medicine" and promoted the development of clinical application of genetic testing to reduce the harm of birth defects and major diseases to human health.

In 20 13, BGI successfully completed the wholly-owned acquisition of the American listed company Complete Genomics. Yin Ye played a key role as a core member in Huada's overseas acquisition and accumulated rich experience in capital operation and financing investment.

At present, Yin Ye is the CEO of Huada Gene Co., Ltd., leading the team to actively promote the industrial application of cutting-edge biotechnology and genomics research results, and provide complete genomics solutions for top medical institutions, scientific research institutions, universities, pharmaceutical companies and breeding companies in the world.
