The Historical Evolution of Yin Xiu Temple

Yin Xiu Temple was built nearly 300 years ago and is home to dozens of monks and nuns. Here incense fills the air and tourists are woven, presided over by master Jingguang of Longshan Temple in Singapore. However, in the 1970s, due to neglect of management and disrepair, the whole temple collapsed due to ruin. Due to historical reasons, temple records have disappeared.

On September 29th, 2003, the Municipal Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs approved the relocation and re-opening. The new site was located on An Lan Mountain and named Yin Xiu Temple. On July 6th, 2008, ground was broken for the Daxiong Hall of Yin Xiu Temple. With the strong support from all walks of life, the Daxiong Hall of Xiaolan Yin Xiu Temple, which cost more than 8 million yuan and has a building area of 1300 square meters, was finally completed.
