Seriously ill fish generally face down, tail fin up, almost perpendicular to the water surface, and die quickly, with a very high mortality rate, which mainly harms the fry of that year. The disease is the most serious in summer. At the beginning of large-scale onset, at first glance, groups of fry float and white spots appear on the caudal fin, which is very similar to vesicular disease. Once white spots appear on the body, it may lead to the result of "total annihilation".

Preventive measures: keep the water fresh and feed more fresh bait.

Pay attention to avoid scratching fish during fishing and transportation.

When stocking, disinfect the fish and soak them in 3% salt for 3-5 minutes.

Treatment: Use 10ppm of Asian penicillin to spray in the whole pool.

(2) White mouth disease:

Symptoms: the head and mouth ring of the sick fish are milky white, and the lips are swollen, so that the mouth cannot be closed and it is difficult to breathe. Some sick fish have congestion around the skull and pupils, showing the symptoms of "red head and white mouth". Sick fish usually swim near the water surface and appear as floating heads. The seriously ill fish developed ulceration and died quickly.

Prevention method: this disease mostly occurs in the fry stage, and proper sparse feeding of fry can effectively prevent this disease.

Poor water quality is an important cause of this disease.

Feeding more live bait can reduce the occurrence of this disease.

Use 3PPM bleach (content: 12%) to prevent the whole pool from splashing.

(3) Bacterial gill rot:

Symptoms: the gill filaments of the diseased fish are rotten and the lesions are patchy. When the disease is out of control, there is infiltration at the edge of the white spot and some sludge. The inner surface of the branchial lid bone is congested, sometimes corroded into a slightly round transparent area, commonly known as "opening the skylight". Sometimes the tissue at the tip of the gill filament rots, resulting in the incompleteness of the gill filament. Due to the destruction of gill filaments, sick fish have difficulty breathing, and often swim near the water surface in a floating head shape. After the disease is controlled, we can see that the edge of the original lesion is gradually clear, the healthy part returns to color, and finally the necrotic part falls off, and the defective part remains in the branchial flap. Partial recovery can be achieved after rehabilitation.

Control method: 20 ppm Asian penicillin is spilled in the whole pool.

Spill 2~4ppm gallnut all over the pool.

3ppm bleach spilled all over the pool.

(4) Enteritis:

Symptoms: The sick fish has swollen abdomen and black body color. Abdominal erythema, anal protrusion, redness and swelling. When the fish belly is cut open, there is a lot of peritoneal fluid, and the capillaries in the intestinal wall are congested, which leads to the rupture and overflow of thrombus, which makes the intestinal wall reddish brown and there is no food in the intestine. Many sick fish have no appetite, swim slowly and die soon.

Preventive measures: do a good job of disinfection, keep the water fresh and feed fresh bait.

Appropriate dilution and frequent replacement of fresh water.

Feed drugs mixed with bait regularly.

Use 3ppm bleach regularly to disinfect the water in the whole swimming pool.

Treatment: oral administration combined with whole pool spraying.

(1) white spot disease:

Symptoms: After the larvae of melon invade the skin or gill tissue of fish, they peel off the tissue of fish to obtain nutrition, so that the tissue secretes a lot of mucus.

The naked eye can see that there are small white spots on the surface of the diseased fish. At the beginning of the disease, the body surface and fin roots are slightly red. The sick fish stagnated at the bottom of the pond or piled up in the corner of the pond, and then white spots appeared and gradually increased. In severe cases, a white film is formed on the body surface, the skin is inflamed, people refuse to eat, and the fins fester from the edge, which eventually leads to death.

The suitable water temperature of Cucurbitaceae is 15℃ ~ 25℃. When the temperature is lower than 10℃ and higher than 28℃, its development stops, and when the temperature is higher than 28℃, its larvae are easy to die. Therefore, increasing water temperature can prevent cucurbitaceae. Pumpkin larvae will die if they can't find a host for 24 hours.

(2) toe disease:

Symptoms: Dactylogyrus parasitizes in gill, causing gill edema, gill cover opening, dark gray gill filaments, black body color, wandering alone, not eating, emaciation and death.

Dactylogyrus hook the gill tissue of fish with a small hook on the back sucker, and it keeps moving on the gill, destroying the epidermal cells of gill filaments, stimulating the gill cells to secrete excessive mucus, causing gill rot, hindering the fish's breathing, thus affecting the normal metabolism of fish.

Preventive measures: do a good job in disinfection of fish ponds; When stocking, disinfect the fish with 3% salt for 3~5 minutes or with 15ppm potassium permanganate for 30 minutes.

Treatment: Disinfection with 3% salt for 3~5 minutes can effectively kill Dactylogyrus.

Spraying 2.5ppm trichlorfon and +30ppm formalin in the whole pond.

(3) Tick disease:

Symptoms: lice parasitize the fish's body surface and gills, stabbing and tearing the fish's skin, sucking the fish's blood, causing many wounds on the fish, causing microbial infection in the water, making the sick fish gradually emaciated and leading to death.

In addition, when lice suck fish's blood with their mouthparts, the venom secreted by them can stimulate the fish, so the sick fish are extremely uneasy in the water and swim and jump violently. Fish show that they are still floating on the water, constantly swinging their dorsal fins, and often rubbing the bottom or wall of the pool with their bodies. When the parasitic amount is large, goldfish often jump out of the water.

Precautionary measures: disinfect water sources and fish ponds.

Strengthen water source filtration to prevent lice and young lice from entering the fish pond.
