When it comes to this distinction, everyone basically thinks it is the same thing, but it is not.

In the field of metaphysics, this is a branch that distinguishes divination from fortune telling.

First of all, metaphysics is divided into mathematics and magic. Magic, you know, mathematics refers to all those eight characters, six hexagrams, strange doors, plum blossoms, crape myrtle and so on. What is calculated, sorted and summarized by certain mathematics is collectively called mathematics.

After that, it will be divided into five techniques of metaphysics, namely, mountain medicine and life divination.

These further divided the above two factions.

Mountain, refers to boxing, the famous Tai Chi is this kind, geomantic omen, Yin and Yang family, choosing a day and so on.

Medicine refers to Chinese medicine, but some people think that it is only about Zhouyi.

Fate refers to an innate and unchangeable calculation mode brought by a person's birth, such as eight characters.

Physiognomy, physiognomy, palm reading, palm reading, bone image, and so on, and some refer to Feng Shui.

Divination is asking divination and divination. Generally, it is six hexagrams, tarot, plum blossom and Zhouyi.
