Fortune-telling of Lotus Temple in Chang 'an.

When it comes to China ancient temple tourism, I believe Lingyin Temple comes to mind first. After all, it has almost become one of the most famous scenic spots in Hangzhou. However, it is not difficult for China, with its vast territory and rich natural resources, to find an ancient temple with a history of thousands of years. For example, Ma Xiao saw such a temple when he was traveling in Quanzhou, Fujian.

This is an ancient temple with a history of 1300 years. It is also an important cultural relic in the southeast coast of China and the largest Buddhist temple in Fujian Province. This is Kaiyuan Temple in downtown Quanzhou.

Kaiyuan Temple was built in the period of Wu Zetian in Tang Dynasty, formerly known as Lotus Temple. But in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, with the prosperity of Quanzhou, Kaiyuan Temple became an important temple in China. However, compared with its former prosperity, Kaiyuan Temple is an important ancient temple in China, although it is almost equal to Lingyin Temple in level. Relatively speaking, there are a lot fewer tourists, almost all of whom are locals.

Even so, Kaiyuan Temple still hides many scenic spots. As long as you have been here, you will be surprised by many tourist attractions here.

Two ancient pagodas with China characteristics can be seen on both sides of the main hall of Kaiyuan Temple. These two towers are the East West Tower and the Ursa Major Hall in a "needle" pattern. The two towers are wooden octagonal five-story pavilion stone towers.

Walk along Baiting Square and you will reach the main hall, which is the main building on the central axis. Ursa major has many attractions, mainly the carving skills. In front of the hall, you can see exotic sculptures in Greek style in China, while in the back of the hall, sculptures in Indian style make Ursa Major look very strange. There are nearly a hundred giant stone pillars in the hall, which look particularly spectacular.

Go to the back of Daxiong Hall, and you will arrive at Ganlu Ring, a building built in the Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the late Ming Dynasty. The altar is divided into five layers, and the highest layer is dedicated to the wood carving of the sitting statue of Lushenafo in Ming Dynasty. Its scale is huge, and it has become the three commandments of China. The main attraction in the altar is that twenty-four flying musicians with wings can be seen in the main hall, holding pipa, erhan, flute and castanet, singing and dancing lightly, and they seem to like it very much.
