The maximum age of a taxi driver

The maximum age limit for taxi drivers is 60. According to the relevant laws and regulations, taxi drivers must be under 60 years of age and have no major traffic accidents within three years, in addition to having the corresponding motor vehicle driving license.

As a public transportation tool, taxis facilitate citizens' travel and improve people's work efficiency. It can be said that it reduces the pressure on the bus and subway, but relatively speaking, the requirements for drivers are also very high, especially the age.

According to the Regulations on the Management of Road Transport Employees, you need to obtain the corresponding motor vehicle driver's license if you want to drive a taxi, and you must not be over 60 years old, and there has been no major traffic accident within three years. And those who have obtained the driver qualification for road passenger transport or cargo transport for more than two years or received full-time driving vocational education can only engage in the taxi industry after passing the examination and obtaining the corresponding qualification certificate.

If I have a score of 12 in the last three consecutive scoring cycles, or have a bad record of traffic accident crime, dangerous driving crime, drug abuse, drunk driving and so on. Passenger transport is strictly prohibited. If the rental company conceals it, it will also be implicated. Relevant traffic violation information will be recorded in the annual service quality evaluation file of taxi operating units.

Legal basis: Article 11 of the Regulations on the Administration of Road Transport Practitioners shall meet the following conditions:

(a) to obtain the corresponding motor vehicle driver's license;

(two) the age is not more than 60 years old;

(3) No major traffic accidents within 3 years;

(four) to obtain the qualification of road passenger transport or cargo transport driver for more than 2 years or to receive full-time driving vocational education;

(five) to accept the training of relevant laws and regulations, safety knowledge, professional technology, occupational health protection and emergency rescue knowledge, and to understand the nature, hazard characteristics, use characteristics of packaging containers and emergency measures in case of accidents;

(6) Having passed the examination and obtained the corresponding qualification certificate.
