What does Alibaba Cloud cdn hit rate mean?

The hit rate of CDN is a performance index for evaluating CDN, which is also available in Alibaba Cloud, Yun Fan and Tencent Cloud.

The hit rate of CDN refers to the probability of hitting the cache when users visit. When a user visits a website using CDN, the request will be resolved to the CDN node. At this time, if the content requested by the user has been cached on the CDN node, the direct CDN node directly returns without going to the source station to fetch the data (this is considered as a cache hit). If the corresponding content is not cached on the CDN node, it will immediately go to the source station to get it, then return it to the visitor, and cache the content on the node at the same time (so there is no cache hit).

CDN hit rate is subdivided into CDN request hit rate and CDN byte hit rate. CDN request hit rate refers to the probability that all requests hit the cache in a period of time. Byte hit rate refers to the probability that the number of bytes requested by time hits the cache.
