Wu Huang Temple

Sacrifice to "Five Raytheons" (the five sons of the Jade Emperor) was built in the Wudi Cave by the Xushui River. No one knows the exact location of Wudi Cave. According to legend, the cave is in the deep water under the high beach, and the cliff is unfathomable. It is named Wudi Cave because of the Wudi Temple. Huang Wu Cave "has two halls, two horizontal halls and several monasteries". In front of the temple, there are five statues of the gods, dressed in bright armor, clay sculptures and ferocious faces, with a plaque of "Five Emperors' Spirit". The earliest Lantern Festival in Zigong was held here. It is said that the "Five Emperors Lantern Festival" is the birthplace of Zigong Lantern Festival (see the stone tablet found in Wudi Temple and preserved in Zigong Lantern Festival Museum). Legend has it that these five atheletes of plague are "righteous thieves" who kill the rich and help the poor. According to legend, the Five Emperors are the five sons of the Jade Emperor Zhang. Jiang Ziya was selfish when he sealed the gods, and wanted to seal himself as the Jade Emperor. When calling "Jade Emperor Jiang Di", a kitchen named Zhang came out to give thanks. Ziya said "ginger" and the kitchen said "Zhang". Ziya told Zhang to swear on Sansheng Bridge, and Zhang swore that "the man stole the girl Juan"; So the Jade Emperor put a curse on God, and all five children were thieves, and all seven women were born to steal men. Ziya, because of selfishness, was sealed by the gods, and only "swallowed Mount Tai Shi Gandang and left it to himself to take care of ghosts", so Jiang Ziya became a mouth-swallowing bodhisattva. Now there is a temple in the temple where people live.
