Mr Holmes is a suspense film directed by bill condon and starring Ian McKellen, Milo Parker, laura linney and hattie morahan.

The film is adapted from Mitch Cullin's novel "Mind Tricks", and the story background is set at 1947. It tells the story that after retirement, Holmes lived with the housekeeper and the housekeeper's son in a quiet small village in Liuli, and found an unsolved case decades ago, so he was determined to solve the truth. The film was released in Britain on June 9, 2005.
