Wutai Mountain ranks first among the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. It is called "Golden Wutai" and is the Dojo of Manjusri Bodhisattva. Wutai Mountain is not a mountain, but a series of peaks located on the roof of North China, with the highest elevation of 306 1 m. Five peaks (Wanghaishan in Dongtai, Jinxiu Peak in Nantai, Cuiyan Peak in Zhongtai, Guayuefeng in Xitai and Yedou Peak in Beitai) surround the whole territory, and the top is flat and wide without trees, just like a platform for building earth, hence the name. Wutai Mountain is the only Buddhist Dojo in China where Qing Temple (Han Buddhism) and Huang Temple (Tibetan Buddhism) complement each other. There are 86 places for religious activities, many of which have been built, and emperors of all dynasties have come to worship. The famous ones are: Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple, Bodhisattva Temple, Nanshan Temple, Dailuoding Temple, Guangji Temple, Wanfo Pavilion and so on.
