First look at the skin thickness. The skins of local pigs are between 0.4 and 0.5 cm, and those of hybrid feed pigs are mostly within 0.3 cm.

Second, look at the lean meat color of local pigs. The lean meat of hybrid feed pigs is lighter or even whiter.

Third, look at the thickness of subcutaneous fat. The subcutaneous fat of local pigs is generally between 4 and 5 cm, while that of hybrid feed pigs is generally only 1 ~ 2cm.

Fourth, look at the pore size. The pores of native pigs are coarse, and those of hybrid feed pigs are fine, even not obvious.
