Who are the immortals in Huang San?

These three immortals are red Cao Guojiu, white He Xiangu and yellow Lv Dongbin. These characters all come from the Eight Immortals crossing the sea, which is one of the most popular myths and legends in China. The Eight Immortals are Han Zhongli, Zhang, Han Xiangzi, He Xiangu, Lan Caihe and Cao Guojiu. One of the most well-known stories of the Eight Immortals was first seen in the drama Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea. Legend has it that the fairy of Baiyun returned to Penglai Fairy Island when the peony was in full bloom, and invited the Eight Immortals and the Five Saints to attend the grand event. On the return trip, Tie Guai Li advised them to find their own way, instead of going by boat. This is the origin of "Eight Immortals crossing the sea, each showing his magical powers" or "Eight Immortals crossing the sea, each according to his ability".
