I have consulted the so-called masters, but their words are as ambiguous as those of fortune tellers.

Coincidentally, after reading a few ancient books, it turns out that thousands of years ago, someone explained the way to be a man so thoroughly that I have to think that history is just different people interpreting the same story.

Based on the principle of telling the simplest truth in the simplest words, this book is extracted from many ancient works of China. The truth is easy to understand and suitable for all people who know Chinese characters.

One. Can't learn-Xunzi

There is no end to learning.

16. He who is content is rich

People who can be satisfied will be truly rich.

"Tao" is constantly changing in cycles.

18. Without a great achievement, its use will not be harmful.

The best things in the world seem to be flawed, but their functions will not be reduced.

What used to be a good thing becomes a bad thing when it crosses a certain boundary, and vice versa? Maybe it's because I'm not perfect, and I always want to find something close to perfection.

19. My husband is just sick, so he is not sick.

We should have a correct understanding of shortcomings, so as not to be trapped by them.

The author's sentiment: knowing means knowing, and not knowing means not knowing. Cheating, after all, harms others and harms themselves. Lies don't become facts because they are powerful.

20. If you respect others, you will be respected.

The real enlightenment is to let others follow, and the real disaster is to let others also cause disasters.

29. Never leave evil, never establish a good name.

If you don't do bad things, there is no need to fight for fame.

The author's feeling: Everyone knows that it is good to do bad things secretly without being found out, but not many people know that doing good things is the same.

30. It's easy to break a thief in the mountain, but difficult to break a thief in the heart.

It is easy to defeat bandits on the mountain, but it is much more difficult to defeat inner greed and evil thoughts.

39. The color of a gentleman is not lewd.

People can like beauty, but they can't immerse themselves in it, which makes them look obscene and lewd.

The author's feeling: keep your mind open, but don't let your body be free.

40. Good knows its evil, and evil knows its beauty.

If you like a person, you should know his shortcomings, and if you hate a person, you should also know his advantages.

The author's feeling: When you love someone, she shines, and when the light fades, you find that she is a toad. Love always makes people feel hot. Often the simpler the truth, the more you need lifelong learning.

4 1. Secular friendship needs gold, but it is neither much nor deep.

Secular people need money to make friends, but those who don't have much can hardly make friends.
