Why did the Ming Emperor search for Zhang Sanfeng? How old did Zhang Sanfeng live?

Speaking of Zhang Sanfeng, I think everyone's impression is the image created in the TV series The Dragon Slayer. In Jin Yong's works, he is a hero on earth and the head of Wu Tangmen. It can be said that many movies and literary works deify Zhang Sanfeng, but the image of Zhang Sanfeng in Jin Yong's works is so fabricated that many Taoist temples now worship Zhang Sanfeng and call him Sanfeng.

In fact, Zhang Sanfeng did exist in the official history, and several emperors of the Ming Dynasty looked for him everywhere. According to legend, he lived for more than 400 years. According to the records of Ming Dynasty, he lived for 2 18 years. Is this possible?

The legendary life of Zhang Sanfeng.

Zhang Sanfeng, a native of Fuxin, Liaoning Province, was originally named Zhang Junbao, whose name was Sanfeng, and studied under Zhang Yunan.

Zhang Sanfeng claimed to be a descendant of Zhang Daoling, and Zhang Daoling was the founder of Taoism. He lived in Shun Di in the Eastern Han Dynasty and was honored as Zhang Tianshi by the world. He is also a descendant of Sean, a famous saint in history, so Zhang Sanfeng's ancestors can be traced back to Sean in the Western Han Dynasty.

According to folklore, Zhang Sanfeng's mother Lin gave birth to four sons, all of whom died unfortunately. Zhang Sanfeng was born in the late 1950s. A few days before labor, Lin woke up from her sleep. She quickly woke up her husband Zhang and told him that she dreamed that a crane flew from the East China Sea and landed on her roof. Gang Lin say that finish, she heard a voice on the roof. Zhang hurried out to see the situation, only to see a crane flying over his head and landing on the roof of his neighbor's house.

Zhang thinks this is a good sign. His son will not be an ordinary person in the future. A few days later, Lin gave birth to Zhang Sanfeng. Zhang thought that his son was unusual, maybe a reincarnation of a crane, so he named his son Zhang (meaning perfect man). Later, the couple thought that Zhang Junbao would read fluently, so they named his son Zhang Junbao.

But the ancients all like deifying legends, and the truth is hard to verify.

Zhang Junbao is very clever since he was a child. He is familiar with classical literature. At the age of five, he suffered from eye diseases. Mr. and Mrs. Zhang asked veteran Zhang Yunan to treat the disease. Zhang Yuna felt comfortable with Zhang Junbao and asked to accept him as an apprentice. Zhang and his wife agreed. Zhang Yunan not only cured Zhang Junbao's eyes, but also taught him to study. Zhang Junbao later became famous and became a small official.

After Zhang Junbao's parents died, he returned to his hometown to be filial to his parents. Because Zhang Junbao was obsessed with Taoism, he resigned after observing filial piety for three years and became a Taoist master. Later, he came to Sansheng and saw the beautiful scenery of Feng Ting. He changed his name to Zhang Sanfeng in the name of Shan.

Since then, there have been many legends about Zhang Sanfeng, saying that he had contacts with Wang Zhongyang and Taoist Shi Tian Qiu Chuji. He also said that he was in rags and never washed clothes. He can eat a bucket of rice at a meal, and sometimes he can walk 800 miles a day without eating a meal for several days. Shen Wansan was also his apprentice, and Zhang Sanfeng taught him alchemy, which made Shen Wansan very rich. These legends are now difficult to distinguish between true and false. But in the official history, Zhang Sanfeng did practice martial arts in Wudang Mountain and created many martial arts, such as You Jianlong, Seven-Star Boxing and Seven-Star Sword Technique. Whether Taiji Zhuan is Zhang Sanfeng's masterpiece is not recorded in the history books.

In Jin Yong's works, Zhang Sanfeng had seven disciples, namely, Yu Lianzhou, Yu, Zhang Songxi, Yin Liting and. In the official history, only Zhang Songxi was Zhang Sanfeng's apprentice, and the other six people just learned a few tricks from Zhang Sanfeng, but there was no mentoring.
