Shiping Xiushan is located in the west of Shiping County 10 km south of Baoxiu Town. Pine trees cover the scenery on the mountain, and cypress trees fill the mountain road. According to legend, during the Tang Dynasty, Dai people built Buddhist temples here. Zhenjue Temple was built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1368- 1398) and rebuilt many times in the Qing Dynasty.
