Heilongjiang Neimurhe Wetland Provincial Nature Reserve is located at the northern end of Songnen Plain, bordering Wudalianchi Shankou Reservoir in the east and Nenjiang River in the west. Its geographical coordinates are 4818' 05 "~ 48 33'15" north latitude. East longitude12431'25 "~12535' 27", with a total area of 6 1385hm2. The core area 18792hm2, the buffer area 225 16hm2 and the experimental area 20077hm2. The nature reserve spans nehe city and is a wetland complex formed by the confluence of Namur River and Nenjiang River. Namur River flows into Namur River via 124 km, and the three major water systems, Laolai River, Nanyang River and Shidi River, are densely covered with bubbles and swamps. It belongs to the inland river wetland ecosystem nature reserve, and the protection object is the wetland and water ecosystem formed by terrestrial organisms and their habitats.

This nature reserve is rich in biological species. There are more than 300 species of wild plants in 49 families. The common plant species are Carex, Typha Typha, Potamogeton, Sanguisorba officinalis, Ranunculus ternatus, Polygonum cuspidatum, Dianthus northeast, Cardamine minor, wild soybean, Euphorbia sputa, Viola yedoensis, Solanum lyratum Thunb., Scutellaria baicalensis, Atractylodes macrocephala, Taraxacum northeast, Polygonatum sibiricum and Cinnamomum camphora. The constructive plants, dominant species and main accompanying species are swamp plants, hygrophytes and some mesophytes suitable for aquatic conditions, with a total coverage of about 70%. The nature reserve is rich in wildlife resources, including 37 species of mammals, belonging to 6 orders 14 families, accounting for 43.2% of the total number of mammals in Heilongjiang Province. Among them, there are many kinds of rodents, accounting for 35. 1% of the total number of mammals in this area, and the proportion of insectivora, Carnivora and Chiroptera is also high. There are 2 10 species of birds, belonging to 44 families of 17 orders, accounting for 56.3% of the bird species (373 species) in Heilongjiang province, including 23 species of non-passerine birds/kloc-0, accounting for 58.6% of the species, and 87 species of passerine birds, accounting for 4/kloc-0. The national first-class protected animals are red-crowned crane, oriental white stork, black-billed grouse and great bustard. The national second-class protected animals are cygnet, mandarin duck, black kite, magpie, falcon and short-eared falcon. There are 7 species of amphibians, belonging to 2 orders and 4 families, accounting for 58.3% of the amphibians in Heilongjiang Province. Reptiles belong to 3 orders, 4 families and 7 species, accounting for 43.8% of the reptiles in Heilongjiang Province. There are 58 species of fish, belonging to 6 orders 10 family. Among them, there are 44 species of CYPRINIDAE, accounting for 75.8% of the fish species, which is the most. There are 3 species in Cobra family and 2 species in Cobra family. Namur River Nature Reserve is the largest and most well-preserved wetland at the northern end of Songnen Plain, and it is also the most well-preserved freshwater ecosystem in Northeast China. In 2007, Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government approved it as a provincial wetland nature reserve in document [2007] No.57.
