There are Cenozoic tertiary and quaternary strata in Weixian county. The Quaternary strata are about 500-600 meters thick, and most of them are fluvial alluvial deposits. This stratum is located in the Linzhang-wei county Daming fault zone, separated from the Anyang-Handan-Xingtai fault zone in Cixian County, and extended eastward to Linzhang-wei county, which is a part of the second largest subsidence zone of Cathaysian tectonic system.

Wei county, with flat terrain, inclines slowly from west to east, with an altitude of 48m to 57m, which is a part of the North China Plain. The terrain of the county is slowly inclined from southwest to northeast, and it is open and gentle.
