The fate of mankind depends on repentance.

The Bible tells us that God is a Potter and we are clay. God has the right to treat us at will, but he lets us choose our own destiny. God said, "When did I say that I would pull up, tear down and destroy a country or a country (or a person)? If the people (or people) I mentioned turn away from their evil, I will regret the disaster I will bring them. " (See Ye 18: 1- 10) Because God "wants no one to sink, but everyone to repent." (2 Peter 3: 9)

We can see from the examples of James, David, Peter, Saul, Achan and Judas. They all committed crimes, but the results were quite different. The problem is that James, David and Peter sincerely repented and were forgiven by the Lord. None of the latter really repented. Therefore, the fate of mankind depends on whether we really repent.
