According to historical research, during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, a great Zhiyuan monk traveled here and had a good eye for treasures. He built a temple here, used his own Buddhist doctors to eliminate disasters and solve problems for the people, and won the love and respect of people from all directions. After three years of spontaneous fund-raising, it was rebuilt and expanded into a magnificent temple. Because of its grand momentum, powerful gas field, endless stream of believers, a scene of prosperity.

Dojo passes through Cang Sang several times. In the early years of the Republic of China, Daxing new school was built and the temple was forced to be transformed into a national university hall. Later, it was destroyed by a rare flood, and the Dojo weakened immediately. When Japan invaded China, the precious cultural relics left in the Dojo should be looted, leaving only ruins and walls, which was very desolate.

Because of its far-reaching influence among the people, all localities strongly hope to restore the original temples. On March 28th, 2003, with the approval of Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Religious Affairs, the foundation stone was laid on April 7th, and the construction projects of Daxiong Hall, Tianwang Hall, Release Pond, Bell and Drum Tower with an area of 10000 square meters were completed one after another, and officially opened on June 65438+ 10/day, 2005.
