Fortune-telling in Peking University Temple _ Peking University Temple
Fangsheng Dabei Temple is located in the east city of Bazhou City, Hebei Province. It has been Fangsheng for more than 2,500 years and has been a place where many religions have flourished since ancient times. There are three temples, two temples and eighteen temples in history, which were rebuilt in 2008 and became one of the thirteen cultural fine buildings in Bazhou! It is also one of the important landscapes to be launched around Beijing and Tianjin.
Fangsheng, which lasted for more than 2500 years, has been a place where many religions have flourished since ancient times. There is a saying of "three temples, two temples and eighteen temples" in history. According to anecdotal reports, in its heyday, there were 72 temples in Fangsheng, a tiny place, and the wide range of believers in that year was evident.
Fangsheng Dabei Temple, formerly known as Beida Temple, was built at the end of Yuan Dynasty, rebuilt in the first year of Ming Dynasty, and rebuilt in Zhengde for five years. It reached its peak in the Qing Dynasty and was later destroyed and robbed by natural disasters.
In 2008, Dabei Temple was rebuilt after the renovation of Fangsheng Ancient Town, facing north to south. There are memorial archways, children's Guanyin statues and Panlong stone pillars in the square outside the mountain gate.
This is opposite the elegant and serene Buddhist temple in Tangerli. Fortune tellers and vendors abound in the square in front of the temple, which is a disgrace to the Buddhist holy land.
Entering the mountain gate, the temple is still quiet, and the architectural form is somewhat similar to a palace, which is magnificent. It is said that there are more than 11,000 Buddha statues in the sutra depository in the courtyard, which is extremely rare in China.
After reconstruction, Dabei Temple has become one of the four Guanyin Dojo in China, on a par with Luojiashan Mountain in Putuo, Nanshan Temple in Hainan and Potala Palace in Tibet.
Fangsheng Dabei Temple faces south and consists of two parts: a square and a temple. It absorbed the achievements of 72 temples in Fangsheng in those years, and brought together the elegance of China's north, south, east and west halls and the unsurpassed deities and buddhas, forming the largest temple with unique characteristics of Fangsheng.
There are archways, children's Guanyin statues and Panlong stone pillars in the square. Its arched pattern is exquisite, especially the dragon pattern, which is exquisite, simple and elegant and can be called a masterpiece.
The temple consists of three parts: East, West and Middle. Among them, the Mountain Gate (there are two generals in the gate), the Heavenly King Hall, the open-air Guanyin statue, the ancient Buddha Hall (with stone pavilions on both sides), the Daxiong Hall (with four-pillar and five-story archways on both sides) and the Wanfo Building are located on the central axis of the whole building.
