When the Buddha only gave a tree to the lonely garden, Ananda asked why Batu's fate was so different. The Buddha told Ananda that it was all because of different intentions in previous lives, such as:

1. I endured humiliation in my last life, but I look good in this life.

2. losing your temper in your last life is ugly in this life.

3. Greedy and stingy in last life, poor in this life.

4. Three treasures in the previous life, and prominent officials in this life.

5. Pride is to despise people in previous lives and to be humble in this life.

6. I was respectful to others in my last life, and I was above others in my life.

7. previous lives despised Buddhism, and this life is short.

8. This life is fierce, don't admit your mistake. In the past, it was a sheep.

9. I was red-eyed in my life, but I was stingy with fire and light in my last life.

10. In my life, my eyes were as small as sparrows, but in my last life, I sewed eagle eyes.

67. Dirty monks and nuns walked clean, died in iron caves and hell, and cut off their bodies with millions of knives and wheels. The Buddha told Ananda that there are two kinds of hearts when going to the temple, one is kind and the other is disgusting.

68. If you go to a temple to worship Buddha and become a monk, I want you to uphold justice, be repented, support the three treasures, and protect Dafa at all costs, which is the best kind person.

69. If you go to a temple, you only want public things, ask for a loan, or find a monk who is short of people, deliberately discredit it, or eat the monk's things for free, without shame, and even take the cakes and fruits in the temple home privately. This kind of person died in iron pill hell, iron pot soup, charcoal stove, knife mountain, sword tree and other hell, and was the worst villain.
