The Historical Evolution of Pinglidian Town

Named after the town government's store in Pingli. Yingli, a neighboring village, was the hometown of Yan Ying, a doctor of the State of Qi during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. In memory of Yan Ying, a pavilion was built here, which gradually developed into a village and was named Zhong Ping Hometown Store. In the late Ming dynasty, it evolved into a Pingli store. 1938 belongs to the 4th and 6th districts of Yexian County, 1950 belongs to the 4th (crossing the west) and 6th districts of Yexian County, and 1955 was renamed as Pinglidian District of Yexian County. 1August 1958, pinglidian commune was established.1April 1984, it was renamed pinglidian town. 1996, with an area of 45 square kilometers and a population of 32,000, governs Chunyu, Yingli, Pinglidian, East Yunnan, Wang Dian, Liuxing, Dagouya, Guangxin, Ant, Ant, Ma Qian, Mahou, Qiancaojiabu, Houcaojiabu, Shizhulan, Shijiang, Shiyu and Shidong. From June 5, 2000 to February 2000, 24 villages in Camus Town were merged into Pinglidian Town (the other 20 villages in Camus Town were merged into Zhu Qiao).
