Tangshan Sports School 1989 was established with the approval of Hebei Provincial Government, and it is affiliated to Tangshan No.50 Middle School, Tangshan Ordinary Amateur Sports School and Tangshan Shooting Model Amateur Sports School. The school has always adhered to the tenet of "putting moral education first, paying equal attention to reading and training, developing in an all-round way and striving for first-class", and has made outstanding contributions to Tangshan sports after years of hard work and enterprising.

The school has a building area of 3 1000 square meters, and has 12 training venues, with five key events: track and field, shooting, weightlifting, wrestling and judo, as well as gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis, martial arts, boxing, kayaking, taekwondo, swimming, diving, badminton, tennis and so on.
