Who is the monk in the Water Margin?

The monk in Water Margin is called Lu.

Lu Shenzhi, whose real name is Lu Da, nicknamed the Flower Monk, is a character in Shi Naian's classic novel Water Margin. Lu was originally under the jurisdiction of Weizhou Jingluefu. He killed the bully town of Kansai with three punches because of a grievance. In order to avoid the arrest of the government, he became a monk.

Later, he fled to rivers and lakes to save Lin Chong, and became an outlaw in Erlong Mountain with Yang Zhi and Song Wu. After the gathering of the three mountains, he entered the water margin, ranking thirteenth among the eight generals, with an asterisk and a lone star, ranking first among the infantry.
