Where is Wuhou Temple?

Wuhou Temple, located at No.231Wuhou Temple Street, Wuhou District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, covers an area of 15000 square meters. It was built in the first year of Zhangwu (22 1). It was originally a special temple to commemorate Zhuge Liang, also known as Kongming Temple, Zhuge Temple and Prime Minister Temple. Later, it was incorporated into the temple where the monarch and the minister shared sacrifices.

Wuhou Temple is the carrier of people's affirmation and praise for the spirit of Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu and Han Dynasties, and the source of the remains of the Three Kingdoms. It consists of Zhaolie Temple, Wuhou Temple, Hui Ling Temple and Sanyi Temple, and belongs to the cultural heritage protection area of Wuhou Temple Museum in Chengdu.

1, Han Zhaolie Temple

The Hall of Han Zhaolie is a hard mountain roof, which is divided into two rooms, inside and outside, separated by a central pillar. The gate is open in the middle, and the scarlet plaque is engraved with the four golden characters of "Han Zhaolie Hall". There is a stone lion in Ming dynasty on the left and right sides of the gate, and there is a zhaobi outside the central axis of the gate, and banyan trees on both sides of the zhaobi.

2. Gallery of Civil Servant Generals

In the East-West Gallery in front of Liu Bei's Hall, there are 28 statues of civil servants and military commanders in Shu and Han Dynasties. The East Gallery, named Chen Wen Gallery, is headed by Pang Tong, who is called Feng Chu, and has 14 people (Pang Tong, Jian Yong, Lu Kai, Fu Yi, Fei Yi, Dong He, Deng Zhi, Kyle, Jiang Wan, Dong Yun, Qin Mi, Yang Hong, Ma Liang and Ji Cheng). The West Gallery is a military commander's gallery, headed by Zhao Yun, who is both wise and brave, and 14 people (Zhao Yun, Sun Gan, Zhang Yi, Ma Chao, Wang Ping, Jiang Wei, Huang Zhong, Liao Hua, Xiang Chong, Fu Qian, Ma Zhong,, Feng).

3. Liu Beidian

Liu Bei Dian is located in the north of the first courtyard, with the civil and military corridors on the east and west sides and the second door on the south, forming a complete quadrangle-style building.

Liu Bei Dian is a traditional building with a single eaves and a mountain, with seven rooms wide and four rooms deep. Bows are supported on the front eaves column, and auspicious animal patterns with painted gold are carved, which are beautifully made. Above the second door, there is a big plaque with the words "Brilliant through the ages" inscribed by Wu Ying, the governor of Sichuan during the Kangxi period. It means "Ming Chen, an eternal model".
